Kona Cafe

Can any one give me opinions on service and food.

I looked at the menu and it looks great in my opinion but just wonder what others may have to say about it.

We loved it. It was a nice change from the usual burger - steak fare. If you go, try the dumplings, they are yummo

We love Kona Cafe, the coconut almond chicken is my fav. I have had the new york strip steak, one of the best steaks I have eaten at WDW. My dh always get seafood, loves it! Also, if you happen to go for breakfast, the tonga toast is amazing, but the macadamia pineapple pancakes are perfect! I have also heard, but never tried, that you can request the bread pudding from O'hana for dessert. I am going to try this next time!

I really like Kona for all meals, it's a really nice breakfast, and is a great spot for dinner.

Kona consistently gets good reviews for both breakfast and dinner. I don't think you'll be disappointed if you try it. Have fun!

My mom and I enjoyed Kona Cafe. The bread and butter is absolutely delish! I believe it's pineapple bread and macadamia nut butter? I also was able to try my first Fire Rock pale ale from the Kona brewing co, which was very nice (if you like a good beer). The dessert I had was a dissapointment though, (some sort of pineapple upside cake) so I suggest something else. Overall, very yummy and def. recommended!

It's our favorite breakfast place but we also like dinner there as well. We have always received excellent service there.

I can only comment on breakfast and it was fantastic! This is my new "must do" when at Disney from now on!

Was there for the 1st time last week for breakfast. All four of us absolutely loved it. Smaller restaurant, quiet, good atmosphere. Food was great!

I'd say go for it.

We eat at Kona every year for dinner. I love the bread and butter. I always get the almond crusted chix. DH has tried several things and has been happy with them all.

Kona is our favorite restaurant at WDW. Wonderful open restaurant atmosphere. In our opinion has the best variety of food. The desert menu gives you some real options and last but not least the Hawaiian sweet bread is to die for.

The service is great and so is the food!

Pineapple bread, Scallops and scallops, Banana chocolate cre'me brulee', Chocolate fondue, Pork chop...last years version, Shrimp and scallops, kilauea torte, Teriaki strip with pineapple glaze! Yum Yum Yum!

I love Kona! While the breakfast is enjoyable I find it a bit heavy for a day in the parks. I really like taking a break from the MK and hopping over there for a relaxing lunch. Service and food have always been good although I know some people have had issues with service.

Kona is nice...can be a bit loud depending on where you're seated, but food wise it's pretty good. I like the tuna oscar.

For dessert make sure you ask for the Bread Pudding from Ohana...I'd go again just for that!!

We loved it so much in August we are celebrating DS's b-day there in May! Not only was the food yummy the waitstaff was fabulous.

I absolutely LOVE Kona's Pineapple Macadamia Nut pancakes! If I could I would eat them every morning!!
This past trip I finally got there for lunch and had the Calamari Salad. It was pretty good. My only problem was that it was loaded with cilantro and I don't remember seeing it listed on the menu.
