Went to Kona Cafe this morning for breakfast. My reservation was for 9:05 am. We arrived at 9:00 am and were immediately seated.

Service was a bit on the slow considering that the restaurant was not completely filled. On the plus side when the food did come out it was hot and presented in a very nice manner.

I had the Tonga Toast and was not expecting the 4-6 inch loaf I received. It was presented with maple syrup and strawberry compote on the side. Chose the maple syrup over the strawberry. ( more of a personal taste )

Over all I would rate the experience as excellent and would recommend it again.

Kona Cafe is one of our family favorites. The times we've been it has never been crowded. Likely because Ohana's character breakfast at same time. The Tonga Toast & coffee are a must. glad you enjoyed it

We are going to Kona this coming May with my MIL. She had the Tonga Toast back in the early 80's and has raved about it ever since. We sure hope it lives up to her expectations.

My Dh & I always make a point of having breakfast there, the coffee is the best in WDW and we are coffee fanatics. The service has always been great, although they seem to struggle for those of us dairy free people...but if you ask, they will make other arrangements ie: soy container with my coffee, not adding milk to items etc.
Love it and cant wait to go back in sept..:cool1:
