I just added myself to an adult solo trip and I know I will be eating at Kona and CA Grill for dinner. Kona will be first. I was checking out the menus and had a few questions.

1. Does Kona still have a filet? I see it on the WDW menus but not the allears menu's. I love it and since it is an adult trip if I can indulge at both dinner's I will :).

2. It looks like for dessert they both have a creme brulee and some kind of chocolate molten thing. I like both so figured I would try one at each place. Any recs as to where I should have the creme brulee and where I should have the chocolate lava dessert thingee :)?

I can say Chocolate Lave thingie at Kona(mmmm we got that to go almost everynight on one trip it was so yummy)

And the Creme brule was delicious at Cali. (but you have to like bananas.)

The allears.net menu for Kona looks correct for what was there in September 2008 -- there was no filet on the menu then. DH had the prime rib...very, very good. I had the teriyaki NY strip...it was terrific.

The banana creme brulee at Kona is out of this world...has a chocolate fudge layer on the bottom...I want one now!

thanks for the info. I usually order filet because it is very lean, I hate fat on meat. Is the NY Strip pretty lean?
