kona 7:30 or tusker house 8:30 HELP!!!

ok, so i thought i was done with my adr's but i had been trying to get tusker breakfast which i finally did get, although i would have preferred earlier. so here is the question. would you do kona or tusker???? is 8:30 too late for tusker to take advantage of early park access??? will we be done on time?????? does it matter in ak????? thanks to all who can help on this!

I'd do the Tusker House breakfast. It's a buffet so you could eat and be done fairly quickly and not miss too much park time. If you did Kona, I'd figure it would about an hour to eat and then you have to catch the bus to AK. Try to show up 15-20 minutes early for your Tusker House adr too, that will give you some more time! Good luck!

thank you for that info. so, if we were to arrive at ak early, would they let us into the park at the same time the people with 8 am adr's are allowed in? would they hold us back because ours is for 8:35? also, what is the earliest they would allow us in? perhaps we could hope to be seated before our 8:30 adr time?? any hope for that? thanks!

I think they'll let you in as soon as you show up at the gate with an adr that is before opening..you can't go anywhere else in the park anyway. And, you might be seated early if you show up early. The tusker breakfast is really good food and the characters dressed for safri are alot of fun. We did this last time and are doing it again. We finished breakfast, went out to the rope and were on the first safari for the day, the animals were very active.

There's a cast member at the turnstiles that has a list of breakfast adr's. You tell them your name and they check their list. For instance, we had a Crystal Palace breakfast adr at 8:30 and they let us in at 8:10. They tell you to check in for your adr's 15-20 min. early anyway so I think you'll be fine! Plus, Tusker House shouldn't be packed that early anyway so most likely you'll get seated quickly.
