Kohl's coupon question

I have one of those entertaintment book coupons for $10 off $50 purchase. I forgot to give it when I made a purchase two days ago. The coupon says not good on prior purchases but do you think Kohl's will honor the coupon if I go there today with my receipt?

Well it does say not good on prior purchases...so not likely. What you could do though is repurchase everything, us the coupon and return everything with the old reciept. If you tell them you plan to do that, they may just do it for you.

When does the coupon expire? You could try asking or wait and use it again! I shop pretty regular at Kohl's, didn't the clerk ask you if you had any coupons when you were checking out? They always ask me.

Thanks for your help. Kohl's was willing to honor the coupon but I would have lost my 20% off discount that I originally purchased everything with so I didn't use the coupon. I might be in there again before the coupon expires.
