Know where my FAVORITE place in the world is, Mommy? I'm OUTTA HERE!!! Dude OUT!

DH just announced that he wants Disney Crocs when we go to WDW this time....it's hard to tell sometimes when he's joking. I REALLY hope this is one of those times.

Everyone but ME has those things in our household. One word of warning... the Jibbitz don't stay in them!

No crocs here for me, either! EVER! My feet are big enough without the added help from the huge crocs!

SO, I forgot to take pics or mention this, but right before we left, I got an envelope from Disney. :yay: I knew it wasn't travel documents, so I was confused. Ten I htought maybe it was some sort of code! :cool1:

Then I opened it.

"Dear Angela, Welcome back. Here are some great things to be sure not to miss on your trip in April! blah blah blah." :headache: NOTHING on there I didn't already know. waste of paper!

OK, must take DD swimming! Later!

I'm eating lunch! sheesh!

Free Wi-fi in the room = DISing at lunch :thumbsup2

The pool's cold. :sad1: It's only about 75 today.

WE'll take some pics, but I forgot the cord to hook up the camera to the laptop. :sad2: DH thinks he has something that will work. :confused3

How's it in the Caymans today?

It's warm. It's been partially cloudy all week and raining at night, but I htink it was clear last night (no rain marks on the sand). the pool is COLD!! EVErything's closed today, so we're being lazy. Cooking lunch and DISing. :)

How's CA? Having fun packing??

Nice today. 75 is forecast......I'm watching the Rose Parade right now.

Packing...I'm going back and forth about buying a new suitcase....so I don't want to start pre-packing just quite yet.

Yeah, I'm toying with the idea of new luggage myself. This IS the time to buy it, if you're going to. Our luggage is heavy. We have a nice huge rolling duffel bag that is great to pack the whole family in one bag, but it weights almst 20 lbs empty, so we always seem to go overweight. :headache:

I have been having fun on Minimus. Must stop.

Hi,
Ok just read the entire report and u r chatty. :rotfl2: sounds like a great trip you have planned.
the crocs all I can say is I have a pair and love them They were heaven on my feet at Disney. Unfortunately my feet are too big for the Disney ones.
The Caymans sound nice.
Look forward to reading more about your trip.
I will go to your other tr probably after my trip cause I am subscribed to so many right now, but definitely will as it gets closer. I promise.

Hi Scott!!

I know I'm chatty. I'm a WAHM with no outside contact on a daily basis. I compensate with lots of posting and blogging. No one I know will even notice my tan when I come home from Cayman. Seriously, I'll go weeks only seeing the few other parents on the bus stop, who sit in their cars until the bus arrives (I walk over...it's two blocks!).

I am positive crocs are comfy. My kids love them. I just think they're ugly, and I am a shoe snob. I don't wear any clogsif they make my feet look bigger or wider than they are. I once hoofed it to 65th and Park from Grand Central (and back) in 4 inch designer heels once, just because they looked so awesome. It's a sacrifice for me to wear supportive walking sandals in WDW and not my unsupportive (but much cuter) flats or mary janes, even knowing my feet would hate me if I did otherwise. :rolleyes1

You ARE so close! So many of my subbed PTRs are leaving soon! I am jealous! When I get home I am using this jealousy to crank out some fierce disney outfits for my kiddos. You'll have plenty of time for my PTRs after you get back ad start writing your TRs

OK, must watch Sugar Bowl.....:happytv:

My father just sent me an NYT article all about people whose homes are cluttered. THe article focused on the fact that people who are chronically disorgnized could havehealth problms stemming from it, should seek counseling, and how, when people de-clutter they lose weight (have I mentioned I'm a good 30 lbs overweight?)

My house is unfairly infamous in my family for being a sty. A few rooms in my house ARE a mess (My fabric storage and work rooms, my bedroom, and the kids' rooms), the rest is in good shape (shelves are cluttered, but te rooms are not hazardous or even really messy)....they haven't been to my house in 6+ months, and the last time they were over, the dining room was piled high with stuff about to go into a garage sale (all of which is now gone)

I am really hurt. This is so typical of my parents. :sad1:

Who cares if you're a little overweight? :confused3 You're an American, so you're obligated! 30 lbs is nothing. I lost 30 lbs since July doing nothing but eating meat. You could lose it easy if you felt like it.

What matters is what YOU think of yourself. If you're content, don't worry about it. If it bothers you, then do something. The most important thing, again, is to worry about your husband and children and the rest be damned.

That's my philosphy, and I'm stickng to it.

Now, on to the clutter issue.

We started watching "Sell This House" on AE three years ago and I went on a serious de-clutter rampage. I can tell you this, with less clutter does come less distractions and less stress... but that's just me.

I am one of those people who NEEDS some clutter. No desire to completely declutter. Super-spartan uncluttered spaces make me nervous. :confused3 I'm weird. The "public" rooms of my house are clean. I am working on the MBR. I work well in a mess in the workroom...no real plans to do anything but get some things off the floor.

And I have lost 20 lbs since May. My father has put on at least 15 in the past year, a he was talking to DH about it over Thanksgiving and asking DH how he lost the weight. I have 30 lbs to go to get to my ideal weight, but I think I'll be happy at 10-15 less than I am right now. I took the holidays "off" (I haven't gained, just haven't lost). I just look at some of May's WDW pics for any motivation I may need. :scared1:

I'm just pissed I constantly have to deal with this from my family. :headache: I know: get over it. But it's hard! :headache:
