Know where my FAVORITE place in the world is, Mommy? I'm OUTTA HERE!!! Dude OUT!

Angela, you've crossed over to the dark side......:darth:

Hope your appt went well.

5 days? 4 days? It's going to be quiet around here w/o you...

What are we going to do w/o a little fabric drama?;)

Hey guys, I am in a REALLY Bad MOOD. I will post more about it in a sec. Sorry if my responses are short. I'm trying to be cheerful.

I have the caymans and r great. hope u like your pair u got. :thumbsup2

They're OK, but my feet sweat and then they start to smell. :confused3

Did you have your doctor's appointment today, Angela?? If so, what did he/she say? Hope it was good news.

he said "Thr neuropathy is only is one leg, actually, but we have no idea why you have this....here are some different meds, try them....if you are still having pain in 4 weeks, we'll MRI your brain." It's not Lupus, thyroid, diabetes, cancer, hypertension, or any of the other common causes of neuropathy. I HATE not knowing. :headache:

:woohoo: :woohoo: Welcome to the Croc family hehe.... wear em around for a few days and they just may end up goin with ya ;)

Meh. They're ok. the pink and gray ones are for pedicures mostly, until my reef shoes die.

Thats right!!! I think she did have one...
please tell us how it went!

It went sucky. It was a waste of 2 hours.

YOu can wonder whether or not I kill HHBG in his sleep at the "happiest place on earth"

Party at Angelas in 5 days!! party:

Good luck finding the floor to party on. If you clean up first, party on, dudes.

I love the purple!

THanks.

So, my Dr appt was stupid.

Then my &*^%$#@ in-laws called with their usual "Oh, if you lose your job will you leave the morally questionable field of finance, and get out of that cesspit known as New York, and get a completely new career, since we hate what you do and the choices you have made with your life...then maybe you'll join a church and save your children and yourselves from a horrible fate of fire and brimstone...." phone call to HHBG.

So, to get away from that, I decided to pop onto iTunes and download some Disney movies for our trip.

Now, HHBG decided that this weekend, he would spend about 8 HOURS "consolidating" our iTunes library, since it was spread over about 3 different hard drives and 7 different folders, since we lost the original hard drive....while he played WOW on the other computer.

First he COMPLETELY FILLED the internal hard drive on this machine, so it had to be removed and all sent to the external hard drive. THEN he spent hours removign all of the song "doubles" since there was a lot of overlap between folders.

In the process, he managed to COMPLETELY ERASE EVERY SINGLE PLAY LIST AND SONG RATING from our 230 GIG iTunes library. EVERY ONE!!

Also, he managed to somehow have our library be recognized as a DIFFERENT one than is currently on the ipods, so to update them, they need to be completely WIPED and reloaded.

NONE of the iPOds can handle the whole library, so along with EVERYTHING ELSE I HAVE TO DO, now I have to put the playlists back together (screw rating the songs for now) so we can try to put them onto the frigging iPods for the trip.

After I discovered this last night, di her help me for the three hours I worked on it?? NO. HE PLAYED WARCRAFT!!!

Then, I went into our room to find something, and all of the clothes he had pulled out to "maybe" pack....he piled at the foot of the bed.

And the laundry he said he'd help me with by bringing the clean, folded piles up tot he kids rooms (and our room) and putting away?? It's in KNOCKED OVER PILES still on the dining room floor.

He's got a dinner meeting tonight, adn won't even be home until almost 8 tonight. I have to pick the kids up early from school for Spencer's Dr Appt to get a referral for testing. He also JUST informed me that the meeting he has on Thursday, that I thought was for LUNCH is a post-work meeting, ad he'll be late then, too.

Of course, he spent a few hours this weekend cleaning the kitchen and bathrooms for me....and brings it up every time I mention all the things he SAID he'd do but didn't. He also has NO ANSWER for why the iPod stuff had to be done this past weekend other than, "It seemed like a good time." REALLY???It DID??? or did it seem like a good excuse to play your friggin video game for 8 hours instead of helping me with the stuff you said you would???

I am so pissed off right now. I'm ready to stay home from the trip and let him try to figure out what is going on, since I planned EVERYTHING, I have packed for EVERYONE (except for his shirts, shoes, and swimsuit...that's ALL he packed), and I have set EVERYTHING UP. I have spent WEEKS trying to get ready for this frigging trip, and he makes HOURS MORE WORK FOR ME with less than 4 days to go until we leave!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

He hasn't even brought the bins with the fabric in them in from the porch from the fabric sale LAST WEEKEND. I guess I will have to do that. TOO.

:headache:  :headache:  :headache:

I will probably be scarce today while I try to calm down.

Angela,

I'm so sorry! That sux about your doctor's appointment. Wish they could figure something out for you. Hope the new meds will help.

I had a bad night last night too. Luckily it wasn't my husband that made it bad, but the dog. He ripped into a chocolate bunny and I had to induce vomiting in him. Then, I found out that my 28 year old cousin has breast cancer. This morning, I woke to find that the dog had puked all over the house during the night. In addition, he pooped all over the living room floor. So, right now, the carpet cleaner is here. Not exactly how I wanted to spend my preschool morning. Instead of running errands and doing what I want to do, I'm spending $300 to have the carpets in my house cleaned.

I think we both deserve a stiff drink!

Jodi! That sux worse. Yech. :(

I hope your day gets better.

I'm not sure that mine is worse than yours. At least my DH isn't causing me any trouble. He was gone last night though until midnight, so he wasn't here to help me induce vomiting in the dog. And then he sleeps like a log, so he missed the middle of the night dog vomiting. But he is supportive and wasn't mad at me for leaving the chocolate bunny (still in the box) in a grocery sack on the floor. I still can't believe the dog ripped it open like he did. Guess he was really hungry.

Where was he last night. Out chasing "tail"? popcorn::

No, he was saving stupid people from themselves. Working at the fire department on the ambulance. Can't fault him for that!

Well, the carpet cleaner just left with all of my money...

But at least I've got clean carpets.

How's Linnie? Are you at the hospital with her?

OH WOW!! Angela I dont really know what to say! it all just kinda sux! :headache:
It will all pass.. you`ll be on vacation in the Happiest Place on Earth!! When you go under those arches, take a deep breath and forget about the outside world..
I hope the new meds work for you.

Guess so. yech. I have a cat that likes to overeat and vomit in high traffic areas. I am waiting for someone to step in it one of these days.

Angela, I hope you have a better day!:goodvibes

Great pic. :thumbsup2

Sorry about HHBG being a WarCraft bum but that little bit (above) had me freaking rollin'!! :rotfl2:

The horrible thing is, that's basically EXACTLY what they say....well that and "You couldn't pay me enough to live here" and Well, maybe this possible losing your job is a sign that you need to go into something else".... :headache:

I never get to hear the full conversation, as HHBG knows I'll freak out on them. But I hear his side (a small sampling of his side of the conversation):

"yes, electrical engineeering" (his degree...he NEVER worked as an engineer)
"we don't really want to move"
"If I did that, I would have to start over, adn I don't really feel like going back to an entry level salary"
"I'm sure I can find something else in finance if it came down to it"
"why would I want to do that?"
"Well, here, Chicago, California, London or Tokyo" (Cue wife screaming "TOKYO...Then they can't see ANY of their grandkids!!")
"If I did that, I would get a job in straight computer programming....probably Clifornia...silicone valley.....I know"
"again, that seems counter-intuitive"
"we don't want to try to sell the house and move in this market...besides we don't have a problem with living here"
"this area is fine for us"
"nope, nothing in DC" (I refuse to live that close to them)
"I don't have a problem with the fabric" (Why does my fabric ALWAYS come up??)
"nope, she'd just pack it up and move it anyway"
"She's fine with the kids...it's not in the way"
"No" (repeat ad nauseum)
"well, we disagree"
"I don't think that's necessary"
"We are having no problems teaching them morals"
"No, she won't consider it"
"They're fine at their school"
and finally....

"uh...I have to go...the cat just threw up" :rolleyes1

I hope they work, too. I have a permanent slight limp right now.

HHBG just called, adn I yelled a thim for a while. He promised to leave work early tomorrow and help at home, and told me to do IPod stuff and to DIS today.

JUSt when I htink I can get away with justifiable homicide....

Maybe he's been reading your rants??? :confused3

I'm a lazy bum way too much of the time, so I can sympathize with him. I swept the patio on Sunday, instead of a bunch of other stuff I probably should've been doing instead, like cleaning bathrooms. Otoh, the patio looks a lot nicer now, and I got to spend some time outside on one of the first sunny days. Cold, but at least sunny.

The purple Croc MJ's are cute. I've been semi-tempted to get some, esp for working in the garden when its muddy. I did recently buy some new cheapie flip-flops at Target as pool shoes for the kids' swimming lessons. And other times, too, but that was the reason I caved. I had finally thrown out my old gross ones that I had always hated. I'm another that can't stand stuff between my toes, so I bought the only style Target had that didn't!

So, the pediatrician's kid will be in WDW with their grand parents next week. yes, it is the NY/NJ invasion!!

GAWD forbid a million times I go when the crowds will be reasonable. :rolleyes1

I used to wear the adidas sport sandals, but I wear flip flops so infrequently, i hate to spend any kind of money on them.

I actually like these...and I too am a Croc-hater!

I like that they don't make my feet look huge....but the purple ones gave me a blister today. No WDW for them!
