Know where my FAVORITE place in the world is, Mommy? I'm OUTTA HERE!!! Dude OUT!

Anyone in the Ny/NJ area who eats a lot of asian food knows what a "bento box" is.

Benefit of living in a high asian concentration area. :thumbsup2

I'm pleasantly surprised...it's a term I'm fond of because it reminds me of taking trips to Yosemite with my family when I was young. My mom would pack the "bento" which would normally consist of shoyu wienies and rice balls and some fruit. We used to complain, but now I miss it because we never have it.....:confused3

Welcome, HHBG!

I agree with painting over the Mickey's-I'm impressed with the speed of your nail growth.

DDE sounds like a plan-my brother and DSIl were singing its praises yesterday.

So, I am going to WDW in October for the Ip-Dip Fry Daddy DIS meet....I will have park hoppers for that trip.

Both trips, we are planning on paying CASH for food.....

Or are we??

Not ANYMORE!!

I ran the numbers, and I am going to upgrade my parkhopper ticket to an Annual Pass this trip. I am then going to buy the DDE card.

I will then come home and cancel the ticket part of my package in October (Making it "room" only).

JUST canceling the ticket part of the October trip will pay for the AP and DDE cards. AND we will get 20% off of our meals at WDW BOTH trips. Looking at my ADR list, this will also be a huge discount.

I just have to figure out how the DDE works. :confused3

I am going to wait until I get to WDW to do this so I don't have to have the same MYW package for the whole family. I can do this, right??

AP + DDE = Way Gud. ::yes::

This is what we do. DDE saves you 20% off fud and drink (yes, booze too) at most restaurants. It's only gud up to 8 peeps at a time. Basically, it covers the tip.

wdwinfo says that it's good for up to 10 people at a time. I was just out looking to see if it would make sense for us to get for October.

Also, did you see that goal that New Jersey made in the first period tonight?? That was very similar to the goal they took away from Notre Dame last night. At least the NHL refs got the call right!

The man I am currently married to had better figure out something to do about his video game addiction. This is getting friggin' ridiculous. EVERY NIGHT from directly after dinner until 10pm+.....EVERY NIGHT. HEADPHONES and ALL.

he promised me last week to cut back. LIAR.

Used to live in DC -- before kids. Went to grad school there at GWU. Fun place to live and work, but it's expensive too. We sold our townhouse there for more than it cost to build our four bedroom house here. And of course, our old townhouse has tripled in value in the seven years since!

Uh...but do you have a WIFE you have been ignoring?? I didn't think so!

As I said before, I can somewhat sympathize with you as another WoW widow. However, my DH actually got off this afternoon and played board games with the girls while I ran to the grocery store. But, of course, what do you think he's doing right now....:sad2:

DC is pricey. My IL's live in Bowie, MD which is kind of in the middle of the Baltimore/Annapolis/DC triangle.

UH....Thanks. I feel all crazy after writing down everything I packed....

Uh, that is my Disney packing list. For DC, I mostly recommend good walking shoes. Lots of Museums with tiled and concrete floors. Also, it's a city, so I, personally, avoid the flip flops.

5 Shirts
3 Pairs of Jeans
4 Camis
6 Pairs of Underwear

Don't forget your chargers, but otherwise, looks good. You might not need the jacket, but better to have and not need than the other way around....

I can't believe you fit all that into 2 suitcases!:worship:

The horrible thing is, this is LESS stuff than I packed last year. (they're pretty big suitcases, too)

Oh, I forgot to add the lightweight rain jacket/windbreakers to my packing list. It might rain. :rolleyes1

LOVE IT! I really need to see that movie....

Vote Pedro.

Angela, you are insane! I can't believe all the crap you bring. There's no room for a Fry Daddy in there!!!

I feel your pain on the WoW addiction. You have to lay down the law girl. :darth:

It is not that much stuff. Really, for the adults, it is 3 pair of pants and shirts for every day....and all the toiletries are tiny.

Welcome, HHBG!!!

Woohoo on one school week!!!

Yeah!! :cool1:
