Dude. I woke up an hour ago.

I guess my body decided I had gotten enough done to get some sleep. I've been waking up without an alarm at 6 am every day this past week.

More laundry today...exciting...and our tax refund came, so I paid off a bunch of credit cards. Exciting life, I know.

Oh, and I finally have the follow-up Dr appt for my neuropathy tomorrow....too bad I stopped taking the meds last week. :

Next week at this time we will be probably just getting back to the resort from DHS, and getting ready for our Princess Storybook Dining....

Brianna has an Aurora Dress made by another DISer for the occassion.
Spencer will wear, probably, his mickey polo shirt and striped shorts.

So, I am going to WDW in October for the Ip-Dip Fry Daddy DIS meet....I will have park hoppers for that trip.

Both trips, we are planning on paying CASH for food.....

I ran the numbers, and I am going to upgrade my parkhopper ticket to an Annual Pass this trip. I am then going to buy the DDE card.

I will then come home and cancel the ticket part of my package in October (Making it "room" only).

JUST canceling the ticket part of the October trip will pay for the AP and DDE cards. AND we will get 20% off of our meals at WDW BOTH trips. Looking at my ADR list, this will also be a huge discount.

I just have to figure out how the DDE works.

I am going to wait until I get to WDW to do this so I don't have to have the same MYW package for the whole family. I can do this, right??

I'm not sure about your last question, but I'm also looking at DDE and whether or not it would save us money. We already have APs from December, but we did the dining plan then, so we didn't need the DDE card. In October, we're planning to eat in our villa for a lot of meals to save money (and also eat lots of CS meals). So, I've got to figure out whether or not we will actually save money before we buy it. That means I have to figure out where we want to eat.... hmmmmmm! Disney planning time this week!

DDE is $60, and you get 20% off of all food and beverages. For us, it will pay for itself very quickly.

Now, I need to decide whether or not to go over to MK the first day and upgrade while HHBG takes the kids to the pool, or not to worry about it until the first park day. Probably wait until Sunday.

Sounds like a great idea, I'm sure I read somewhere that you could upgrade your package ticket to an AP when you're there and they reduce your AP price by the other ticket price

I called a travel agent, and they said to wait until we are there, and they can upgrade my ticket no problem....I just need to pay the difference.
