It was a LOT more than I expected. I was really worried no one would come. Of course, now the guy who said he would take the big rolls doesn't know if he can get someone to help him haul it out.

have fun at Texas Road house....whatever that is. we took the kids to Pizzaria Uno. I had 3 mudslides. Now I am well on my way to being both fat AND Drunk.

Thanks Ed! It was rough, but my adrenaline kicked in, and it was nice that most of the people who came were really nice.

Glad to hear the sale went well. I spent my day working outside in the yard. I'm having 3 cubic yards of mulch delivered on Monday, so I spent today getting our flower beds ready. It was in the 60s here today, so it was a nice day to spend outside. But I am tired now! My back hurts.... I'm getting old!

Good news is that my ear is feeling better. Never did go to the doctor, but it doesn't hurt much anymore. I just hope it keeps getting better and doesn't go backwards.

I actually sell that. We call it "bark". We have chips of various sizes, plus shredded. I love the Cedar mulch ( ) cuz it smelz gud.

We're just getting the "homeowner's special" variety of hardwood mulch. It's the cheapest! More money for Disney!

By the way, just figured out that we can use our $1800 "economic stimulus" check for our trip!

Hey! I was in the army woman and lived in a basement apt for 4 years during college. Had to live on nothing but Top Ramen noodles with diced up Hot Dogs for dinner.

I'm not saying you don't deserve it! Just telling you how to get the check from the government, if you really want it! I'd much rather not be getting it either!

There are a couple schools of thought on this. If you looked at it from my perspective, you'd see it all differently. I get nothing back yet paid 35% in income tax to the Fed alone!!!!. Sup wit dat???

Don't worry. I'm not begruding you anything. I understand where you're coming from. We pay a bunch too, and then pay self-employment taxes on top of that! It's amazing what an extra 7.5% will do to you! Just so happens that all those deductions are paying off this year!
