Know where my FAVORITE place in the world is, Mommy? I'm OUTTA HERE!!! Dude OUT!

Those crocs are................interesting. I still don't get the whole croc thing. They would have to feel like heaven for me to wear them.

Personally I will only wear Crocs flip flop types I cant bring myself to buy the bulky ones, although the mary jane ones aren't so bad. :confused3 :rotfl:

Hello there!
I just read through your PTR, I will admit, I skimmed quite a bit of the talk and the AZ TR to save me some time (gotta get some work done), but I had to ask you a couple questions and make a couple comments!

"Epcot is for geeks" you said back on like page 2.

Uh-huh, I totally agree. DH and I love Epcot. And we are geeks. My work that I gotta get back to is for software company. Both DH and I work there. Nerrrrrrrrrds. (and we love it)

"Need a geek smiley."

Again, I totally agree. Something with black glasses and a pocket protector would work wonderfully. This is as close as they get -->:surfweb:

Your shoes. I NEED to know what brand and see a pic of these! They are comfy like sneakers, but look like Mary Janes?! That is a beautiful combo! Pretty, pretty please.

And finally, this will probably make me sound crazy...but, if you haven't bought your tent yet, I happen to have one in Manhattan that you can have. I used to live in NYC and now live in Minnesota. DH has a tent, so mine has never made it back to Minnesota-and we really don't need one. It's 2 four people domes that can connect to each other with a little "tube" (could be very fun for the kids). One dome would be perfect for you and your trip. It comes in a nifty duffle bag type carrying case, and I have a mallet to pound in the stakes in there too. It's very easy to set up. If you are interested, lemme know - PM me would be the easiest for me. I will be in NYC in May if you are interested, and can meet you somewhere in the city with it. It's currently located in a stroage closet in my old church near Penn Station (33rd between 8th and 9th). It's a great little tent. And free, if you are interested. If not, I'll probably Craigslist it while I'm out there in May. :)

I really need to see the shoes. I am a shoe freak and love a cute comfy pair. I currently have Keens, which I like, but aren't exactly great looking. Better than Crocs IMHO though! No me gusta Crocs....

HHBG liked Epcot, just not with the kids.

yes...need geek smiley....no pocket protector....wearing Transformers teeshirt. :rolleyes1

I'll take pics of the shoes later. recharging the ONE battery we found to the camera. hey one's better than the none we had before!

And I would LOVE the tent. I'll PM you when I can get on the computer longer. B is literally breathing down my throat while I write on hers.

Hunka Hunka Burnin Geeks Crocs are awsome!! This is coming from a girl who wears her furry Crocs everyday all day! :thumbsup2
Love the belt buckle too! Can it open beer bottles like the others? :confused3 Thats important you know!

Nope.

I love tacky and ugly stuff!! (It sounds like my house) :rolleyes1

You should have seen my grandma's place, then....:rolleyes1

i like those Crocs.

Uh......:sad2:

Those crocs are................interesting. I still don't get the whole croc thing. They would have to feel like heaven for me to wear them.

I tried some on, and they were very uncomfortable to me....but then again, ithink Birkenstocks are horribly uncomfortable, too.

Personally I will only wear Crocs flip flop types I cant bring myself to buy the bulky ones, although the mary jane ones aren't so bad. :confused3 :rotfl:

They are Ok. I was willing to try, but they really didn't fee good to me.

HHBG's crocs are the "Off-Road" crocs with the thick, bulky soles. :sad2:

So, I made these:

Of COURSE the shorts are JUST too small on S....of COURSE!! I missed by a freaking inch. GAH!

And the dress sleeves don't fit B too great, and the whole dress only JUST fits, so I'm probably going to have to make it again for her. BUT does that mean she'll take the %$& dress OFF so I can sell it in pristine condition? NOOOOO, Of course NOT.

4 hours of work, down the tubes.

I can understand how Epcot w/ Kiddos could be a bit...uh...frustrating. Hopefully not with a 1 year old.

LOVE the Transformers t-shirt. Much more "cool nerd" than pocket protector.

THANK YOU in advance for the picture of the shoes! :yay:

Sounds GREAT about the tent! For 2 years I have been thinking "What in the world am I gonna do with that thing?" How often do New Yorkers go camping?!! We do plan to move back to NYC, but we already have one tent, no need for 2. So glad it can be put to use! :)

(and  about the breathing thing...it's sweet when my 6 month old does it, but I'm thinking that "sweetness" will end right around age 1.5 or 2)

Beautiful work!!!

Sorry to hear they don't fit right.... I hope B has a change of mind and takes the dress off for you to sell. Maybe tell her with the money you get for the dress you'll buy her something --- something you already planned to buy her that she doesn't know about. He he he. :teeth:

So, what size is the dress, Angela??

I'd say it's either a big 3T or a small 4T. She's still wearing it. She's 23" around, and it's about 24" around, I think. I also think I screwed up the sleeves, as the whole dress lifts up when she raises her arms.

I also didn't re-wash the fabric, so no telling what it'll do when I wash and iron it. :rolleyes1

The clothes are cute, anyway.
BTW-embarssing but true-I just figured out your user id yesterday.

HHBG got B to take the dress off. It's still clean. I'm going to wash it on cold, iron it, make sure it didn't warp too much, then figure out what to do with it.

I told B and S I would make them new, identical outfits. Tomorrow I have to go to the dentist to get more braces, so probably Monday. I also had all of the fabric cut out for B's Belle dress, so I might work on that, too, while the Dumbo one is embroidering. I need to decide whether to embroider Belle or a rose onto the front...

Also, B wants only SLEEVELESS dresses, except for the new Dumbo one, which she wants identical. I think I'll try a ruffled shoulder strap for the Belle dress.

I asked B, since she had requested too many outfits, and this is what 8 she wants:

1. Ariel Pink
2. Ariel Wedding
3. Ariel Aqua (Like at WDW)
4. Sleeping Beauty (the PINK version)
5. Cinderella (a new one, she wore the blue one in AZ after all)
6. Belle (the yellow ball gown)
7. Dumbo (this wasn't on her original list, but hey, it IS a gorgeous dress)
8. Minnie

I am trying to convince her to replace one of the Ariel ones with Snow White or jasmine. I also have two different Minnie Dot prints, one pink, one Red, so I might try one of those if she remains adamant.

S wants:

1. Dumbo
2. Mickey
3. Lion king

THAT'S IT.

*sigh*

CamelotCats

I knew you meant CamelotCats.

I mean, I couldn't figure out if you meant you were trying to figure out if it was something to do with Camels or "Came Lot" or something, or you didn't know the reference??

BTW, for anyone else reading, check my siggie. The cats' names are in there.

Ok, as requested, here are my park shoes.

The first pair are nikes:

These are from Bakers, and saved my butt in Vegas last year:

And these are my new ones I bought in Nordstrom. they're by Merrill. The mesh is awesome. if my feet get wet, they'll just dry off. They're specifically for wet weather and rain walking. :thumbsup2 (oh, the bottom one is the outside, not the inside fo the shoe....I couldn't get it to lie properly)

I can't believe I just took pictures of my shoes, and posted them on a public website.

You would think I'd post pics of the louboutins, but noooooooo.....
