Know of a grocery store near the airport?

My husband and I are arriving a couple of hours before my parents for a December stay at BCV so we thought we would take the rental car for a grocery stop, then swing back to the airport to get mom and dad. Does anyone know of a grocery store not too far from the airport?

I just got back from SSR in August. I used Publix. It was located off the John Young Parkway exit. Take that exit and go south about1/2-3/4 mile and it is located in a strip mall on your right. Not sure how far it is from the airport, but it is about 20 minutes from WDW. I know there is a super Target closer to the airport too. It would be closer to the airport than Publix. Sorry don't recall the exit, but if I had to guess, it would be about 10-15 minutes from the airport. You may to do Publix if you are going to the resort. Less time for the frozen items to defrost.

The closest supermarket to the airport would be a Publix at the intersection of Hoffner Ave and South Conway Rd.

Take the North Exit (SR436) out of the airport. Follow SR436 to Hoffner Ave (about 2 miles). Turn left on Hoffner and the Publix will be on the right just before Conway (about 2 miles). There is also a Winn-Dixie on the left if you go thru the Hoffner/Conway intersection.

There are also a couple of supermarkets on SR436 if you were to continue north past the Hoffner Ave intersection. Those are another 2 or so miles. There is also a Wal-Mart in that area.

I've been to the Publix there many times. It's on the way to the orange stand that we like to use. It's Red Hill Groves, just about a mile down Conway, in the direction away from the airport...a right out of the Conway exit of the Publix parking lot.

The store doesn't open until Nov. 1st, but really, they have the best OJ you can buy in Orlando, and great fruit...especially if the red Navel Oranges are in (December or January)!

We like the Orange Blossom Trail exit. Super Target in one direction, to the right if you are going to the airport, grocery stores and Costco in the other. Costco has fresh orange juice, good bagels, muffins, etc and Super Target has everything else, including the toiletries we always seem to need.

There is an Albertson's off Orange Blossom Trail. It is in the shopping center which is straight across the highway after you exit, coming from the airport. You can even call or fax your order ahead of time, and they will have it ready at the service desk for you. Very handy.

We used to go to tht SuperWal-Mart I thgink right at Orange Blossom or John Young-it has been a while. we would take local roads from the airport-not on a highway and it would be on your right. Now I have jsut been calling Gardengrocer for a delivery the first night or so and then I hit the Publix off of International. We go to the church near there too. Nice Publix.
