Knott's during the daytime in October

Hi Folks!

We are planning a day at Knott's next week (probably wednesday) and I was wondering what the park is like during the day when they have a Halloween Haunt scheduled at night. Are all the rides open? or are some of them only open for the Haunt? I'm assuming there will be no crowds during the week during the day! I'll take a lightly attended park over the huge crowds they must get for the Haunt.

Also, does anyone know the cheapest way to get tickets? I think they're 35 bucks online, but wondered if there are any discounts/coupons available once we get to S. Cal. We're planning on taking the bus to the Park, it seems pretty easy, cheap and convenient! Any thoughts?

We were there a few years back during October and almost everything is open, except some of the rides that have a maze and some rides have scary decorations that are covered in the rides until the Haunt. We were the only people in the park I think!

I think the only ride not open during the day is a balloon ride in Camp Snoopy as there's a maze surrounding it. The other rides that have Haunt theming in them are open. There's a warning in the queue area that there is Halloween theming in the ride and that it might be scary for some people.

when we've been there in the past on very slow days everything has been running but they did open some of the rides later than the park opening - sometimes 11:00, or even 12:00 for perilous plunge once.
