It was very popular, yes. Definitely make reservations!!! What they do is they take the 3 main restaurants in the park and turn them into the brunch for that day. When you check in on the morning-of, they will direct you to which restaurant to go (follow the green tape line, follow the red tape line, etc.). Any restaurant they put you in should have the same food and set-up as the other two. We really enjoyed our experience! Good food, good atmosphere, lots and lots of champagne (if I remember correctly we were ordering mimosas as well), we weren't rushed at all, snoopy and the easter bunny came around to all the tables, etc. We also got a discount for our whole party by showing one season pass. I'm really hoping the family votes to go again this year! If you have any other specific questions feel free to PM me.
As far as the park crowds, I'm having trouble remembering! I'm sure it was crowded, but I don't remember it being PACKED. I stayed in Camp Snoopy with my daughter, then met up with the rest of our party in the evening and we did Log Ride and Sidewinder together. I don't recall the lines being overly crazy long, but don't quote me on that.
