Knoebels Grove Halofun, anyone been this time of year?

We decided since the weather will be decent on Sun, to drive to Knoebels Grove for their Halofun event.

However, it is open only from 12-5 pm, and stamp is $24, which seems high for a few hours, IF it's busy, and not all rides are available. I would hope the roller coasters are going?

Anyone been there during this time of the year, especially on a short hours day? We'll still go, but wonder if dealing with tickets would be better. Kids' are not fond of the tickets.

I think you will only pay for those riding, not entry as normal, or pay by the ticket for rides. The antique cars are decorated out for he holiday and have interaction after dark. The train is decked out with spooky decorations etc. some rides are additional cost, like the antique spooked out cars after dark.

You can call to check on the ticket cost per ride, I know it was higher then normal and while some have a little holiday flare, not much for the extra cost.

On the other hand,
For two kids paying the $24 doesn't seem bad, I thought it was $34 with coupons for half off. Search the web.
The event has free parking, free admission, and lots ambiance especially the lighting at dusk will be fun.

PP is correct - you only pay for the people who want to ride. Admission is free. My kids will get hand stamps and I get a small book of tickets that DH and I will use for the few rides the kids want us to come on with them.

We haven't been to the Halloween weekends, but have done other reduced-cost hand stamps (ie, Bargain Nights) and except for when the kids were really young, like under 6, the hand stamp was always a better deal. Unless you're planning to spend a lot of time eating, in the gift shops, or seeing a show, I would go with hand stamps.
