One of our kittens (12 weeks old) just ate the wrapper from a muffin! You know, the kind you make cupcakes in. Any idea whether this is a concern or am I just too much a worrier?

TIA,

Michelle

Sorry, couldn't resist! Kitties are a-o.k.! Thanks for the help/ support! We have only had these gals for a couple of weeks, and I/we just love them to pieces!

My grown cat has eaten muffin wrappers many times. She is still okay. Never even got sick from them.

Thank you soooo much! I just needed to hear it from someone! I have to leave for a picnic soon, and was worried!

I would take her to the vet to make sure everything uh...comes out ok. But cats eat strange things sometimes. My own kitty, Rumpleteazer, has a fondness for the red strings you find around slices of balogna. Also fake pine tree needles from the artificial tree we put up at Christmas.

Thanks TOV! I called the pet ER and they said she should be fine, but to put her in a room with a clean lb to keep an eye on how things are going!
