Kitchen Towel Club Letter? Have you seen one of these?

So a friend gave me one of these letters today. It says that I am to send one towel to the name on the list, then copy the letter and send it to six friends. I should then receive a bunch of towels in a few weeks.



Have you done this?

Does it really work?

It this just a waste of time?

I did it several years ago and got 2 towels as a result. If everyone participates you would get more. Probably not worth it financially, but could be a fun way to say hello friends/relatives out of state.

I did this about 10-12 years ago. I received about 6 towels, some were really nice.

My MIL sent me one last year...I meant to do it...but never got around to it. OOPS!

I have done this and got several nice towels. It was fun to get something in the mail other than bills. Of course not everyone participates, so you don't get as many as you're supposed to but it still can be fun. I have also done a book club and sticker club similar to this for my little girl.

Aaargh! I loathe these things! In the last year I've gotten 2 sticker ones, a towel one and one to buy the other women panties! Like I want other women buying my underwear for me! I'm hoping that the people who sent them to me all got the hint because I called them and told them I would not participate.

It never seemed worth it to me but I would let the person who sent it to you know if you are going to do it.

Don't do it, I just did one that you sent $1 instant lottery tickets, and guess what I got one back, and the person who sent it to me got 2. Waste of $$$!!!
