I've read about a dessert called the kitchen sink. What is it? and is it worth it?

It is a massive sundae at Beach's n Cream- inbetween the Beach Club and Yacht Club. I think it's a great photo op, but really messy and rarely finished.

Kitchen Sink - scoops of vanilla, chocolate, strawberry, coffee and mint chocolate chip, smothered in every topping we have $21.99

A whole can of whipped cream is used on this sundae. That's about how large it is!

We're going to B&C this year just for this reason! Can't wait to see my son's face when they bring it out!

If you order the kitchen sink, be prepared for the "announcement" of its delivery to your table. We (4 women) ordered it back in February - we read about it on the boards,a nd just had to see for ourselves.

Well, as they're about to bring it to our table, they dim the lights a couple of times to get everyone's attention. Then our waitress announces:

"You've heard about it! You've seen it on the menu! And now these four little piggies over here are going to try to eat it!!"

It was a lot of fun - although I could have done without the peanut butter sauce - not my favorite.

It is lot of fun and worth lots of pictures. I have four kids who are voracious eaters (well 3 of them are) and they couldn't finish it. But had a great time trying!

I saw them make it on the Travel Channel...it is huge. As I recall it is two scoops each of vanilla, chocolate & strawberry, one scoop mint chocolate chip, & 1 scoop coffee ice cream, peanut butter, butterscotch, strawberry & chocolate topping, angel food cake, Oreos, brownies, a Milky Way bar, sprinkles, nuts, a can of whipped cream and a cherry!!! Good luck!

I saw it on the Travel Channel, too. It comes in a huge silver dish shaped like a kitchen sink! Looked like it could feed at least six people. It also has at least one whole banana, maybe 2, on top of all the things that Alice28 listed.

The Kitchen Sink Sundae is served at Beaches and Cream soda shop at the Yacht and Beach Club!

My family went there last year and ordered it. We had a blast!!!! The delivery of the massive dessert was hysterical and it was delicious. There were 11 of us and we polished off the entire thing! It is a must do!
