looks like we are in the market for a new kitchen faucet. does anybody have any advice? any particular brand/style you love? any particular brand to stay far away from? also, I'm seeing a wide range of price points. we have a pretty high end kitchen, so want something that complements that, but at the same time my budget is well, on the tighter side of things.

My husband is a plumber and he likes Price Pfister, Kohler and Delta.

We have Delta faucets in our house. We had one in our bathroom that was leaking last year. I called Delta, they sent a replacement, no charge (actually they sent the valve assembly because that is what needed to be replaced).

I miss my pull out sprayer faucet from my old kitchen. It was also a higher than normal faucet so we could easily get big pans under that faucet.

Our first kitchen faucet was a moen. It had more problems than I can count. I replaced it with a delta and I'm so glad I did.

It is a brushed stainless, and it has a pull-down spray wand which is pretty popular now.

I think the model is Leland 978-RBSD

Ours is Grohe. It is kind of tall and the head pulls out and is a sprayer. I've had it a couple of years and it's been fine. I like the sprayer for swishing out the sink and stuff.
