Kingston One Gig SD Card...Five Bucks AR

Where do you get the rebate? How long does the rebate take, usually? I thought I read that Kingston sometimes hassles you with rebates, but maybe that was someone else?

Now that is a great deal. I will order when I get home from work. Thanks for posting this:thumbsup2 !!!

There is a link to the *$42* rebate when you get to the shopping cart. I had a $35 rebate on a Buy.com/Kingston 2 gig card, purchased early January, and got the check last week, so total elapsed time was a little less than 3 months, a little longer than many rebates, but probably about average. There is a website to check your rebate status, and I did get confirmation emails so, although it took a while to get here, I never felt "hassled".

This is not the greatest deal I've ever seen on a SD card, mainly b/c is is only a 1 gig card but, if you don't mind waiting for the *$42* rebate, you can hardly complain about the final $5 cost, especially considering the free shipping.

Kingston gave me a tough time with rebates a year or so ago, but after a couple phone calls to them I was able to settle it and did eventually get my rebate check. However, I have had the same problem with Staples "easy rebates" and with other companies, so maybe I am just not lucky.
