I wanted to know how many people really enjoy Ridley Pearson's book, " Kingdom Keepers" ? I have read the first of these books and I loved it to death. I am now on my second Kingom Keepers called, "Disney at Dawn". I happen to be reading it on my way to Disney. I love kids answers and I would like to see what people say about it!:sulley::tigger::dumbo:

ive read both and im reading the second one again! they are awsome!!

I've read both - they are two of my favourite books. They are so great! :)

Both books are really good, and I can't wait for Disney In Shadow.
There are a few continuity errors that have bothered me when I read them, but otherwise they're great reads! Disney After Dark is my favorite!

:) :) :)

I've read the books a few times. I think they're good. I can't wait for the third one, because it's set in Epcot, which is my favourite park.

Yeah, I'm looking forward to it too for that same reason ^
I also think (or hope) its going to be the pivotal book in the series.

on wiki it says hollywood studios also but its wiki so i dont know if it is true

Ridley Pearson has said on his blog many times it's set in Epcot. At the end of the second book, it mentions the villains heading in the direction of Hollywood Studios, and we know that Epcot is joined to DHS by a lake, plus many hotels.

Here's the plot of KK3:

When Disney Imagineers installed hologram guides for the Magic Kingdom, using teenage models they had no idea the technology might backfire. But backfire it did: some nights when the kids go to sleep, they wake up in one of the Disney parks as a hologram.

With the adventures set forth in the first books now behind them, Kingdom Keepers 3: Disney In Shadow follows the five teens, Finn, Philby, Willa, Charlene, and Maybeck as they search to find Wayne, their mentor and head Imagineer who has mysteriously gone missing. Concerned Wayne has been abducted by the Overtakers-Disney villains, who along with other Disney characters, take over the parks when the turnstiles stop spinning, and want desperately to steer the parks to a far darker place-the five kids pick up a major clue from a close friend, Jez, whose dreams (nightmares, really) often accurately predict the future.

The very few clues from Jez's dream lead the kids into Disney's Hollywood Studios and Epcot--through imaginary worlds that become real, by imaginary kids who are real. Each clue seems tied to the last, and with the stakes growing ever higher, what starts out as a puzzle ends up as a fight for their lives. Through a transparent paper box, a quest for a sword, rides on Soarin' and Maelstrom, life-and-death encounters with giant snakes, and a devious Maleficent, the Kingdom Keepers not only begin to decipher deeper meanings to the clues, but discover new truths about themselves and their ever-growing friendships.

I'm so excited for the third one. Disney at Dawn left you at such a cliffhanger that I am impatiently waiting for April...

I must slightly rain on parades here... I absolutley DETESTED Kingdom Keepers: Disney at Dawn. It was OK, but I did not like the plot...

This is the first I've heard of a third book!! :confused3 Anyone got any more info on that?? :3dglasses

Didn't quite detest it, but the first book was a hundred times better than the second IMO...

When writing the third book, Ridley posted questions on his blog such as who would be overtakers in Epcot, relationships, etc. and they might be included in the third book. He's also planning on writing the 5th book (yes 5th!) with participation from everyone. Just check out his blog:

I read it a while back for school. Its not my cup of tea, but It was mmkay. I'm currently reading Dream Factory, which takes place at WDW. Its a teen romance novel and very much my taste.

I've only heard of Kingdom Kreepers once or twice, now after reading your guys posted I wanna read it. Is it really as good as you guys say?

In the first book, there's some continuity errors, some plot holes, some inaccurate descriptions (mainly ride layouts) and for some reason, everybody calls it "the Fantasmics", although they called it Fantasmic at least once in the book. I guess Wayne got them calling it that...

I don't remember too much about plot holes, or inaccurate descriptions in the second book though... Well, except suggesting that TInkerbell flies at the end of Wishes. I think i'll read it again.
