Kingdom Hears 2

Well, my husband just called from the mall and is standing in a very long line to pick up Kingdom Hearts 2 for our son. Jacob was so excited this morning, I am sure that he is probably not getting any work done in school today.

I was wondering if anyone else was waiting for this game to come out?

Our son is the only video gamer in the family. Jacob was about to have a coronary this morning he was so excited. Not only do my husband and I think he is going a little overboard, but his sister also thinks that way.

I just got it....I am 31 and love games. But Kingdom Hearts 2 is going to rock. I went to Best Buy at 10 am and they had the strategy guides out, 2 to choose from...regular strategy guide and a collectors one.....There were 3 people waiting for it as they were unloading the truck....The guy came carrying a huge stack and was handing them out.....Maybe my Disney World hockey hat and Grumpy Hockey shirt may have been a clue for him to hand me one....

Oh well....the game has like 50-60 hours of play and to start it off...a 3 hour tutorial.....Fun times...

Is the game play the same as the first one? It was a little too hack n' slash for me, considering it was supposed to be an RPG hybrid. It was fun and the graphics were phenomenal, I just wish it was a little less repetitive.

Yes, my ds is sooo ready for that game to come out. I am sure we will be making that purchase in the near future. He has to buy it and I think he is alittle short right now, but birthday money is coming.

It's going to be some of the same...but you get to go to Pirates, Tron, even Steamboat Willie that is in B&W...

My husband is in line to pick up my reserved copy (been on reserve for over a year. ) and I'll be up late tonight! I'm the mom in the family, too. Actually I love RPG like FF X and FF X-2 and it's nice that KH is "kid-friendly" and we can play it together without fear of typical RPG content. I'm also playing DragonQuest VIII and have noticed mature overtones (I know it must have been a MAN programming that one! ) So my son and I are patiently wating for daddy to get home.

Now THERE were a couple good console RPGs...FFX and X-2! I wanted KH to be a little closer to that kind of gameplay. Cool...looks like Auron made it to KH2.

of Late Dec, 04. We went to Walmart yesterday, and got there literally MINUTES after it was put out. We can't purchase it until Friday, but we had enough money to put it on layaway!!! My ds was so excited he could hardly stand it!!!
