princess: Has anyone been in recent years? We went about 10-11 years ago and thought it was just ok, but looking at the web site tonight it looks much better than I remember.

Any recent experiences are appreciated. We'd probably go this weekend, either Saturday (opening day) or Monday (Labor Day).

Thanks!

We went about 3 years ago and though we had fun. I thought it was much better years ago.

I did not think it was at all appropriate for kids. There were a LOT of underdressed women wearing lingere.

For adults I think it would be a good time, and I LOVE that area this time of year. It was a little overpriced in my opinion.

Definaely a very expensive day.

And I'm all set with the women who think their overflowing boosoms are attractive

you can get discount tickets ( or even free) if you contact some of the private venders that sell there. We knew someone who sold swords there and they would give out free tickets so people would come in and check out their stuff....

Thanks. Do you know the name of the vendor, or their web site??

Bump. I, too, would like to know the name of a vendor. The $26A an $15C price is pretty steep IMHO. Tx.

I asked my hubby and he said they were not selling there anymore... but I will see if I can find out more for you...

I've been twice - the last time in '04, and really enjoyed it! I do agree it's expensive - enough that I don't go every year, but I plan to this year.

If you're going this weekend, there is a $2.00-off coupon on their website.

We've been many times, both when we lived in Plymouth (next door to Carver) and even when we moved up to Maine. We love it, but then we're all very much into that medieval stuff ;) And yes indeedy it's PRICEY! We haven't gone in several years because of that, but we're hoping to be able to within the next couple. Let us know how it is, if you go! Take pics!! :thumbsup2

If you know someone who lives in carver you may get discounted tickets through them.
I think "Carver Day" Is at the earliest dates for the Faire. Carver residenst get in for free.
