Kindle fire and Kindle touch - has anyone seen one in a store today?

The amazon home page says the fire and the touch are shippping today (while it looks like they are no longer available for pre-order). Has anyone seen one in a store like target or staples today? I realy want a Kindle touch but was waiting for reviews and to see one in person.

ETA: sorry read the amazon page wrong. They are expected to ship next week. It just looked like you could purchase them now instead of preordering them. But I would still like to know if anyone sees one in a store. I saw they were making room for someting in the kindle section in electronics yesturday.

According to Best Buy's ad, the Fire will be in stores tomorrow and the Touch on Wednesday. I assume the other stores, like Target, will be on the same schedule. I am also anxious to try out the Touch and am looking forward to hearing some reviews since DH may be getting me one for Christmas!

My Fire just left SC and will be here tomorrow. I'm guessing the week delay on the Amazon page is for new orders... I'm looking forward to Touch reviews, we're considering one for my DD for Christmas but we want to see what people say first.

Oh, I hope they have them out tomorrow! I will actually be in a town with REAL stores, so I can take DS to look at it in person I've ordered him one, but I would love him to see one beforehand and make sure he still thinks it's cool!

My Fire is scheduled to arrive on Wednesday. There are some real reviews of it up on Engadget and other electronic reviewing sites, so I bet there are some for the Touch too. Just google Kindle touch reviews and pick the News section.

YDS and I stalked a Fire today. First we went to Best Buy, the guy was just setting it up. I casually walked by and said "Is that the Fire?"...... he sighed and said yes, then slid it over. I bet he'd been trying to set it up all morning LOL I didn't fiddle with it long because I assumed he wanted it back. This afternoon, we went to Target and they had theirs all set up. YDS (8) spent quite a while playing Cut the Rope on it. I then tried to show him a children's book on it. We did look at it, he wasn't impressed......there was rope cutting to be done. He also played Doodle Jump for a few seconds, that was neat. He has asked for an iPod Touch, we had planned on getting him one, but now he thinks he might want a Fire and I'm happier. He still has his camera on his DSi and can use my Sony camera anytime for pictures/video. The fire will do most of what he'd want on the iPod (except Talking Tom. Darn that cat!) plus it will allow him to read books - in a decent size - on it. I also thought it was a little easier for him to manipulate and would certainly be easier for watching movies. I absolutely loved it. All 3 of mine are getting the Fire (12, 9, 8.) I pre-ordered a Kindle Touch and I'm having such a hard time not cancelling and getting a Fire. If the Fire could switch to eInk for books, I'd be sold. The only thing I wanted, love on the idea of on the Kindle Touch, and couldn't find on the Fire was text to speech. I really wanted that for YDS, but if it doesn't have it he could use my KTouch when he needs to use that feature.
