Kindani Pool question

I have a question about the pool at Kindani. We are headed down to WDW and are doing a split stay with Kindani and AoA. My father is joining us for the AoA part of the trip and then flying home the night we check into Kindani. On our Kindani check in day we were thinking about going over early and getting some pool time in. My father will not be flying out until later that night, and we already have 4 in our Studio so we can't add him to the reservation. Will he have a problem joining us at the pool that first day? Do they check everyone's MB at the gate, or will he be OK because he is with us.

There is no check at all. I seem to remember there was a key card gate there several years ago (We haven't used the pool since 2012, so I could be wrong on that) but when we went last month, we just walked right through the gate. You won't have any issues. When it first opened, thye were really worried about pool hopping here but likely not worried about it now, several years in and with AKV being so secluded from the rest of Disney, not many are making that trip just for the pool.

you would be legal to use the AoA pool on your check out day. Not so much at Kadani with you Dad.

Nobody is going to check your id, or kick your dad out. Enjoy the day there. Also, at the top of the pool area is the fitness center. The restroom there has showers, so if your father needs to change for his flight, he can easily do it there.
