Kind of gross....but did anyone hear this news report?

DS and I were listening to a news report tonight and I was hoping we were hearing things. The report was that there was a party on a boat (I think off of long island) and while party goers were below deck they heard a thump from above. Upon coming up to the main deck the discovered a severed hand. Has anyone heard anything about this or are DS and I both hearing things? I did an online search and couldn't find any information, so I am thinking we miss heard what was reported.

yes, from what I heard, it likely belongs to a body they found on the beach a little while ago.

Thanks for the link and the information, now I know my hearing is okay. The story just seemed so strange I was really doubting myself there.

In Virginia in the last two weeks, body parts in a suitcase have washed up on shore twice. story here
