kind of a silly crt question

Okay so I've read how at CRT they give the girls wands and the boys swords, right? Well DS4 does not play with swords, guns, basically any weapon. I don't really encourage it I guess, but I've never told him he can't play with them. Well I was explaining CRT to him. And talking about the swords and the wishing ceremony and the food, anything I had heard about basically. And he said he did NOT want one of those swords, that he wanted a wand instead. Would they give a boy a wand? And also who would I request that with and does it need to be done in advance or just when we get there?? Like I said, kind of a silly question. But I am just really trying to make sure things go smoothly on this trip lol.

my son wanted a wand when he was 4 too (wants whatever his big sister wants LOL), they gave him one and let him keep the sword, just ask when they give them to you.

I'm sure it would be no problem, girls often get swords instead of wands. No need to worry

when we went thet gave my son a sword and gave me a wand...he wanted both so I let him have my wand...
