Killers of the Flower Moon

We saw Killers of the Flower Moon yesterday. I found it to be a devastating masterpiece, made by a crew of filmmakers all working at the top of their game. At once a Western, a love story, a mystery, and a police procedural, it was gripping and involving, shining light on a shameful piece of history. The cinematic sense was evident in every frame, in no place more present than in the brilliant coda of the last 10 minutes. Highly recommended.

Did you read the book? I thought the book was amazing and am concerned about seeing the film as it may be a letdown.

I did, and it was admiringly faithful to the Osage Reign of Terror part of the story, but the creation of the FBI part was pretty much tossed aside. Still, including all that would totally shift the subject matter of the entire film.
