Kilimanjaro Safaris Nighttime FP booked

Is anyone seeing late night for EE? I'm not seeing it for 6/7.

We are also going to be at AK on the same date and I'm not seeing anything other than the nighttime safari on that date as well and nothing for EE. To be honest though I'm not really all that excited for the Jungle Book version (afraid it's going to be last minute and not all that impressive) and not so sure I really want to change up an ADR this late in the game. In the past I was usually done at AK around 4 or so and I think I'm going to do the same thing this year. I'm just going to head over to my 6:10 ADR for Jiko and if we are in the mood we'll head back to the AK and catch a few things standby or maybe get lucky with a few more FP+ later at night after we use up our 3 earlier in the day.

I booked the 9:05-10:05 Fast Pass for the Safari, Hoping to get a fast pass for Jungle Show from 8:00-9:00 who knows for sure. If they don't have a fast pass for Jungle Book then I will hope to get on Safari at 9:00 and catch the 2nd Jungle show around 9:45 or so... who knows when we don't know what time the shows are going to be!

I think it's going to be busier at night than daytime so if you aren't excited about the nighttime offerings, I think you are making a good choice. I've already seen some bad media reviews about the nighttime safari so we are hoping to do it about 8pm (before it gets dark as I've heard once it's dark you can't really see the animals), then head over to JB (if the show is at 9), then do EE (hoping to grab a late night FP when they come available) after because I have heard it's great after dark.

Just got my Safari FP for 930-1030 for mid June. Nice and dark by that time.

Trying to figure out how to do these 3 FP all in the evening Dinosaur, EE, and the Safari. But we want to do both EE and Safari at dark and want to change Dinosaur to Jungle Book if it is available.

This is basically exactly what I did. I got Everest 7:25-8:25 and Safari 9:30-10:30. With Fantasmic at 9pm the FP window starts at 8:25.

The reviews suggested doing the safari at "real" sunset time but, of course for June 7, that's 8:45 and that would interfere with the JB show. I'm guessing a 9pm show and FP 8:25ish. Hoping I am guessing correctly.

I am guessing the same time as you so I hope we are right. My only fear with doing the safari right before the show is that it will get slowed down by an animal and we will miss the show. I know, crazy fears! Sunset may 27th is 8:15, so I'm hoping to catch Everest at the end of our window. Also, will probably try to catch it again single rider on our way out. It's our favorite ride!

We are doing the safari at rope drop too...so the nighttime one will be a bonus therefore I'm trying not to stress too much. If the JB show is at 8:30 then I'll try to move KS to 8:30-9:30 but if I can't, we'll just give it up since we will have seen it earlier in the day. If the JB show is at 9, the FP window might be 8:25-8:45 (based on F!) so I'm thinking if we can get to KS right before 8, we should be ok. But we'will play it all by ear. I'm fairly certain that many times, my plans will have to be changed/scrapped/etc as I'm touring with 2 under 5 and 2 over 65!

Yes, I have heard that the latest for KS is 9:30 and that's what I saw. I wonder if they will close the standby line around 10:30, as well.

Where did you find reviews? I've been wondering how the nighttime safari would be and how you would even be able to see much of anything. We've always had good luck with the safari first thing at rope drop I'm wondering if it's even worth trying.

The single rider line may be an option for you if EE doesn't open up.

Hope your right. I really wanted to ride that at night. I just changed my safari to 6:20-7:20pm if the night safari isnt that good and I'm leaving 9:25 to 11:00 open for EE.
