Kilimanjaro Nocturnal Safari date

Does anyone know when this will be available. I am hearing a lot about ROL but too much about this? Is it already going? Opening the 22nd? Will FP be available? I know if anyone knows it's some people on this board lol......

I didn't think it was anything extra - just the safari continuing to run at night as it does during the day now. Ergo things like FP would be as-normal.

It is a little different in that there will be different animals and some kind of light projection to create an "eternal sunset" over the savannah. Gotta love that Disney Magic!

The only thing I know is that the painted dogs are being switched out around 4:30 every day right now for Hyenas ... Giving the hyenas a short time on the Savannah to get used to the space

Thanks for the info!! We have done the Safari the last two Fridays and saw the painted dogs, will have to try to catch it after 4:30 so I can see the Hyenas!
The painted dogs were asleep in a big pile all together both times we saw them!!

It was in the middle of the day, but these guys are at the National Zoo - they were feeding them at the time (throwing frozen meat to them) - I think that's why they were so busy.

They are using giant screens to create the glow of a sunset. And then lighting for moon light effects.

When you say it that way it doesn't sound as good as "Eternal Sunset."

Hasn't been rolled out yet, but my guess is the same night as ROL April 22. However that is just a guess...

When I rode today the guides said 4/22 and that "soft opening" test rides the week before.
