Kids with adults at dinner or club?

We always ate with the kids as we felt this was important family time. We rarely eat together during the week as DW works most evenings. Even when we did Palo, we still took the kids to our normal early sitting for dinner and had a few appetizers while the kids ate dinner.

Most of the tables around us seemed to also have the kids eat with the family.

We don't have children but have occasionally been seated with families. In all cases, the parents brought the kids to dinner, but often they ended up bringing them to the club during the meal because they enjoyed it so much! We sat with one family that claimed to have a teen son, but we never saw him once during the cruise because we was having so much fun in the teen activities.

We did it both ways. Some nights we'd eat together, others they wanted to eat with the club. We tried to remain flexible whenever possible.

Our first cruise we had early seating so the kids ate with us until transition time was done (about 6:45) and then they went to the club while we finished dinner

2nd cruise we switched to late seating 2 nights in and I had to force DS to eat with us on the last night. He much preferred eating room service or Plutos about 6, possibly seeing the show if we went or just heading to the club. DD would decide nightly what she wanted and we'd go either way. When she did eat with us, she'd eat and go to the clubs after she was done because the movies were getting ready to start (9-10 p.m.) and she LOVES movies!
