I know Visa has this promotion right now, and Disney's is only play free. I have booked the play free promotion (I have 3 kids ages 3-9) and it saved me $634.00

HOWEVER.......

Do you think Disney will offer a kids stay & dine free promo like the Visa one? That would save me even more money!

If free dining comes out on Monday for the GP it will save me an extra $100.00, but if it doesn't come out I'm more than happy with my current savings!

I was just curious :)

I don't know why they switched it from what the Disney Visa promo was....odd to leave out the dine for free. We saved quite a bit putting the kids dine, play and stay for free on one of our rooms and then we used the QSDP free promo for our other room....the kids plan actually saved more than the QSDP free since it was 1 adult and 3 children in that one room....so it might also save you more, I'd call and check Monday. The CM I got was really nice and let me know that the change to the QSDP F/D would have cost me 100.00 more on that room....so we left it. Maybe yours will turn out the same way?

I would be very surprised if Disney offered Kids, Stay, DIne, Play for free for the general public. The offer worked out abou the same for us. We booked the kids option first. Free Dining would have saved us an additional $11.05. Not worth it in my book to try to change it. We are happy.

I wonder at what point it becomes a better deal for the regular free dining? I know we had 1 day tickets booked on the Kids play, stay and dine for free deal and she said that it would save us 100.00 by sticking with the kids plan versus the QSDP F/D. I went back and added 3 more days worth of tickets, so we'd get more free ticket days for the kids, of course that added 3 more days to mine as well....still I wonder if the more ticket days you add if it becomes more of a bargain or less. I'm sure it's an easy answer...but after running numbers yesterday comparing QSDP, Kids Plan, DDP...etc my brain is dead today LOL

I understand about trying to figure out what the best deal is. My brain is like mush when it comes to numbers (scary considering up until a year ago I was an accounts payable manager :lmao: )

For us the cost of POR from Sept.19-25 with DDP, with no promotions: $2867.18

with kids play free promo : $2234.47 (that included DDP)
with free dining: $2163.46

So for us if there was a stay, play & dine promo that would be awesome! I wish I had a Disney Visa to get that promo :(

Does anyone know if you need to purchase a ticket that has the same number of nights you are staying if you do the Visa Kids FREE Promo. Or can I just purchase a 1 day ticket and then upgrade them when we get there?

Not sure if you can purchase less days, but we purchased more. We're doing a split stay in Aug/Sept. POR for three nights with the kids stay, play, dine deal and 6 day tix (with water park - for which I had to pay the difference for the kids). Then we're switching to Bay Lake Tower for four nights with a 40% off code.

I am not sure if you can purchase with 1 day, but I purchased with 2 days. I am staying 3 nights and only needed a 2 day ticket and they booked it no problem. HTH

oh and another Disney Visa question...

For the 0% financing...
If you put 200.00 down for you deposit today....I have 6 months to pay that off.
Then I pay the rest with the Disney Visa at the 45 day mark..do I have 6 months from that day to pay that balance??
