kids play free offer/can I pick up our tickets early?

this is the first time I have taken advantage of this offer, heer is our dilema: The offer starts 8/14 but we would really like to fly down either 8/12 or 8/13. If I book a room only ressy for the 1 or 2 nights prior, will I be able to pick up the tickets for the package that starts on the 14th when we arrive? I read on Cheshire Figment's sicky about tickets that you can pick up tickets up to 3 days in advance, but I want to make sure the same is true for this promo.
Has anyone done this?

I did this last year. While I was not on the kids stay & play free discount, I was able to pick up my tickets 1 day earlier because I was staying on-site. We had no problems, just had to bring our package information to Guest Services at any park or DTD and they called the resort, checked a few things and issued us tickets. They were paper tickets, good for the entire trip. You can then have them transfered on to your Key To The World Card when you actually check in and start your package.

I am not sure if you can do this with the kids stay & play offer. I would definitely post this in the Theme Park Attractions & Strategies board and hope Cheshire can help you.

I think you'll be able to pick up the tickets early, but I have no direct experience with the free kid's tickets.

From what I understand, the tickets are the normal child tickets. The package discount is the amount of the child's (or children's) base ticket included with the package. It's just semantics, the "Free" tickets are just the amount of the package discount allowed for this promotion.
