Kids Pen Pal Letter/Twist Swap? Any Kids Interested?

My daughter just asked me if there was a pen pal swap since I have my adult one. I have hosted different exchanges for kids before, but is not sure how many of you have kids, or grandkids. Would anyone's child, or grandchild along with your help, be interested? It will be for 3 months-May, June, and July. They will send out a letter, or drawing if they are to young to write, or you could help them. And, they will send a twist along with their letter, just like the adult swap. I would try to match up the pen pals according to ages if possible, but if it doesn't work out that way, all names will just be mixed, and randomly assigned.

Anyone have kids who are interested in pairing up with these two boys? Looks like they live in Canada, so all mailings will have to be done via AIR MAIL. Also, instead of the regular twist, I will give out a special "light in weight" twist for pen pals who are sending internationally.

Good question!

The twist is an item that each pen pal sends to each other. Similar to the adult pen pal swap..... I pick a general theme, and the topic would be something related. Something that is small that does not cost much to send....

Ex. Send your pen pal your favorite candy bar.

Then each child will send their letter, and candy bar to their pen pal for the month. Then for the following month, there is a new topic, and theme given to everyone.

The girls received their package today and they were sooo excited to have their first pen pal letters! They loved the velvet poster kits--thanks Brandon,Shayla and Patsy. Yours shows delivery for Monday.

They are ready to write back and answer all the questions!

Great! Tomorrow is my kids last day of school, so they will be working on theirs this weekend.
