Kids Meal Drinks

I see on most kids meal menus that the meal comes with water or milk. Can you choose a fountain drink or is that an additional cost? I'm looking over menus for our trip in 5 weeks and was just curious. I'm not a big eater and a kids meal is plenty for me. Just wanted to know my options. If not, a bottle of water will work just fine

You can usually get a fountain drink, yes. Fountain is cheaper than either a bottle of water or a milk, relative to profit margins. Fountain drinks are cash cows.

At table service restaurants, I've been told that an adult ordering off the children's menu will be charged separately for the drink. At counter service restaurants, you'll just get the small drink.

Thanks! As of now, I think we will be eating all QS meals. We do have a reservation at BOG for lunch one day.
I have a follow up question... I see that most kids meals come with yogurt and grapes. My boys do not eat yogurt. Can you substitute fries or another side?
