Kids Free question

Good Morning! Since I didn't get a FD PIN, I was poking around on the website and I think that maybe the kids free promo might be a better deal for us than the 15% off GP discount I got for our 5 nights at POP (1 child).

Need help figuring out a few things please. If I book the kids play/stay free and we are staying 5 nights at POP but are buying 6 day PH tix, can I do that and just pay for the PH option or will I only get the 5 day tix free? If I get the 5 day tix then want to add days, can I do that? What will the cost be to add day 6 (and possibly day 7)? We have a split stay so need our tix for at least 6 days, probably 7...

TIA for your help!!

Just called and saved $112. For those who also have these questions - CM advised the child tix is free for the 6 days even though package stay is only for 5 nights. Also advised that I can add the 7th day to our tix and only have to pay the difference on the adult tix. The only cost added to the child tix is for the PH option.

She checked for FD pin and we had none. :sad2: I'm not even a big fan of the DDP but I hate to pay their prices OOP and it would have been nice to have free QS for the first 6 days.

It should be noted that when I asked the CM I spoke w/ when I booked my split stay a month ago told me that the kids free would not save me money vs. the % off since only 1 child and I took that as the truth. Would probably not have checked it again if I wasn't sniffing around for FD. It pays to do the math for yourself! I could have missed out if the kids free availability at POP was gone now.

Yeah...sadly I find the CM's do some funny math. I always do the math myself to see what will save me money. In your case, you would still probably pay less in dining that the true cost of the two tickets so you will come ahead. I think people assume free dining is always better when that is not always the case. Glad you were able to save some money. BTW, the last time we stayed at a Value I picked up one of those styrofoam coolers at WalMart and filled it with drinks and snacks. Just kept getting new ice from the vending machine. Saved us a bundle on food/drink prices.

I will definitely be doing the cooler and snacks if we rent a car. Still debating that but now have an extra $100 in the budget so it's more likely.

You can always do one of the delivery places if you don't rent a car. Garden Grocer and We Go Shop are talked a lot of on the DIS. The only way I could get DH to agree to a value resort was by renting a car.
