Kid's experiments-please help

Hello. My ds12 is volunteering at a bible camp. He is in charge of the science experiments. Last year they sent a book with examples. This year they did not. I was hoping some of you wonderful people would have some ideas. The kids are 5-10, and the theme is rainforest. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Steve Spangler has how to make a cloud in a bottle, but I think many basic experiments could be modified to fit a rain forest theme.
