Am I understanding correctly that when ordering at a qs you can order an adult meal for your child on ddp?

Disney policy is that all guests age 3-9 must order from the children's menu where available. Since it is Disney policy, it is also Disboards policy. Any discussion on ways around Disney policy is going to get this thread locked or deleted. This question comes up a lot. :goodvibes

If a CS location offers kids' meals, you must order one for your child. Your room key will specify the number of adults and children on the dining plan so if you have 2 adults and 1 child the CMs will not allow you to order 3 adult meals. I think there are still a few CS restaurants that do not have kids meals available. In that case, you may order whatever you wish off the menu.

Closing this now, as there is a policy on the DIS restaurant board to not discuss using children's credits for adult meals (unless there is no children's menu) - because Disney's dining plan literature is very specific that kids 3-9 are supposed to order from the children's menu.
