I have a very shy 3 1/2 year old daughter who thrives in her 6 year old brothers shadow.
I know they have seperate progams for the two ages, but I was wondering if anyone knew if they are actually in the same area of the club at the same time, or are they completely seperated.

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

thanks a lot,

Beth

I don't know about during the day, but during the later evening, say 9:30 or 10:00 they all end up in the club to watch movies till it closes.

You can look at the navigators for their age groups and compare times to see how much they are actually together during the day.

Here is the link to Barb and Tony's site where they are posted

follow the link for the navigators and they will be there.

They would not be in the club at the same time. They keep these age groups separate, except for movie time late at night, and maybe some of the free play time. Otherwise they'd be in completely separate areas. I believe the 5-7 group spend a lot of time in the lab, where as the 3-4 are almost exclusively in the club. You could have your 6 year old move down to the 3-4 year old group to keep your DD happy, but he might think those activities are a little babyish for him. My DD is VERY shy and she had a BLAST in the club. The counslers are very good at helping the shy ones, and your DD should be fine!!

My DD is very shy, to the point that she cries if she has to speak to someone she does not know. Her eyes lit up the first time we went into the club. From then on, she wanted to be in the club all the time. She loved it. We did not even think that she would go there long enough for us to go to Palo, but she cried if we didn't take her a couple times a day. The only problem she had was on the last day. She had a complete meltdown at the thought of having to go on stage. We were picking her at the time this occured since we knew she would not be comfortable with this and planned to pick her up before the show. After dinner she wanted to go back as long as we promised that she did not have to go on stage.

BTW She is not a "brat" as this may sound, she is actually a soft-spoken shy little girl.

thanks for your thoughts, everything I read about the kids clubs (at least for the younger ones ) has been wonderful.

I am sure she will be fine, and if my husband and I can get a Palo dinner in, that would be even better.

Appreciate all of your ideas and thoughts.

Looking forward to our first Disney Cruise in May.
