Hi
just read that kids can only go an hour at the time in the club is that so ?
got to say I haven’t tought of that the grandkids will be quite disappointed about that

movie theatre so we have to book / reserve à seating ahead ? nightly shows ? Do we need to book ahead ?
got yo say I haven’t tought of that
thanks

Right now DCL is requiring reservations for the Club/Lab (ages 3-12). I think it's 1.5 hour or 2.5 hour blocks of time, preschedule one per day. More blocks of time may be available to book once you are onboard, depending on how busy they are (how many kids on that cruise).

I don't believe you need reservations for either the movie theater or the stage shows.

No reservations or time limits for anything but the Oceaneer's Club for ages 3-12. No reservations required for movies or the theater shows. They didn't fill up at any of the showings I went to, the closest was the daytime Encanto showing on the day at sea, but even then, those who showed up 20 minutes late just had to actually look for a seat for a minute instead of just sitting right down. If you show up 5-10 minutes early, you're all but guaranteed a prime seat wherever you choose.

We were just on the Magic (5 night cruise). Embarkation day & CC day, time slots were 1.5 hours and the other three days, they were 2.5 hours for Oceaner's. No reservations for the shows or movie theatre but we did have at least one of the Dreams shows that reached capacity and people were turned away. They did each show 2 nights though and it was the first night so at least they could try again the next night.

people turned away because they came in so close to beginning of the show ?
i hope coming in a good 15-20 min prior we will be ok

do they distance people in seating ?

The theatre was at capacity which was why they were turned away. I'm not sure how close to the show time it was when capacity was reached. We arrived about 30 min before the 2 shows we saw and were very close to the front both time so I'd think 15-20 min prior would be fine. We had about 1300 people on our cruise and we ha 1st seating dinner for the 2nd show.

Yes, every other row was blocked and they had you leave 3 seats open in between. They had someone there seating you but you could ask for a specific location.
