Kids can't decide what to name their Chocolate Lab Puppy!! **Update** Pg 4 :)

Ok, I love these threads here....DH actually agreed to getting one today, I am still in shock!
DD12 has wanted one for a long time...her responsibilty (non financial of course) and even agreed to help babysit DD3 when needed....lol

So Cocoa was my choice...but DD3 has called DD12 that cause she couldnt say her name when she was younger....
THe pup is female and we get to take her home in 2 weeks

Ghirardelli, Hershey, Cadbury...well she is a chocolate lab.

...might have to break into the Ghirardelli squares I have stashed in the freezer for a chocolate emergency.

Cuuute puppy! I have 2 friends that both have chocolate labs, one is named Brownie and the other is Truffles.

What a cutie! We had a chocolate lab named Duke. But I'd like to suggest Chip (as in chocolate chip). And the Disney reference would be Chip (character) or Chip from Beauty and the Beast.

THanks ! We have a seasonal campground in WI..and family members of the owners are selling them for $225...puppies parents were onsite too.

How about Daisy? Have the parents had their hips checked? Dysplasia is very common in labs. It's good that you get to meet the parents and see what their personalities are like.

thanks everyone for your idea, we appreciate them! We really like CoCo, but DS16 is being the stickler cause that is what we call DD12....you would think a brother would love to call the dog his sisters name, at that age anyway! lol

We had friends that named theirs Hershey-it's the perfect name for a Chocolate!

My second choice might be Godiva or Nestle.

...I just had a HUGE Butterfinger to satisfy my chocolate emergency.

Right now I am holding the 7 week old kitten we adopted today...wodering what we will name her. I think I am ggoing to start a thread for that..
