Where are the best beaches to take the kids to during the 7 Day western cruise. The week we are going is around spring break, so we want to stay away from the high school/college crowd. :sunny:

Chankanaab (sp?) National Park is spectacular.....great snorkeling and lots of fun things to do....

Paradise beach in Cozumel is a really beautiful beach. Admission to the beach and use of the chairs (and umbrellas) is free. You can pay $5.00 for a wristband which covers the use of all the water toys (kayaks, foam mats, the iceberg and water tramboline)This is optional though. There is also a really good restaurant right there...servers will come right to your chair and take your order.

We enjoyed Paradise Beach on our cruise. However, when we were there, the ocean got deep fairly quickly--it wasn't a gradual slope. The iceberg and tramp were fun, but were harder to get on to than you would think due to the depth of the water. My DD slept so well after our day there.

I have the feeling that I now know what we will be doing the day we are in Cozumel. I am assuming the $5.00 charge is per person. That might get a little pricey considering there are 6 of us traveling together, but I guess that is a small price to pay for a day full of fun on the beach.

We also went to Paradise Beach and had a great time!We only payed 5.00 each for the kids who wanted to play on the iceberg (very hard to get on) and we spent our money on food and buckets of beer. There were 10 of us and only 4 got the wristbands and went on the water toys!

So how do I get to Paradise Beach? Is it close to where the boat is docked, or do we have to make reservations and take a taxi?
:flower:

You will have to take a taxi there and back (about $13 each way). The taxis are at the end of the dock area.
