We are planning a night of adult only dinner and let the kids go to one of the acitvity centers. :cheer2: Isn't one of these closed now? Has anyone's kids been to one of these and which? We would like to eat at the same resort that the kids will be at. Right now I'm looking at either Poly or AKL.

My son loved the Neverland Club at the poly. He wants to go back when we go down for our next trip. It looked like a lot of fun to me also.

We left my DS4 at The Mouseketeers at Grand Flordian, while it was quite a small facility, it had loads of toys and games. It also had some gaming consoles, and they can also show Disney movies. You get given a pager, if you are staying on site, this was the first time we had ever left him with anyone this long, let alone complete strangers..I was pretty anxious, but really had no need to be. While we were up in V&A worrying about him being all right he was having a blast. He didn't want to leave! The food was only okay, if you get there before 6.30pm they will provide a meal, the usual kids options. The staff were very friendly, we were out in the GF grounds a day or so later and a cast member yelled over to my son saying "hiya Ben how's it going", I'm sort of "who's she?" "oh just one of the ladies from the club"

We had a peek at the AKL club when we stayed there (DS was too little at that point) and it looked a lot bigger. I think they have a view of the Savannah and the animals there too. The Poly one is the largest of all according to my guide books, but I haven't seen this one.

Our daughter stayed at the Neverland Club at the Poly when she was younger. She had a great time. I was impressed that in addition to asking if we were staying on property that evening and giving us a pager, they also asked for an emergency contact of someone who was not with us on this trip. (I never though of that possibility!) Goofy even made a visit to see them that night and they gave her a picture of the two of them! Have a great time on "Parents Night Out"! :cool1:

We stayed at the Poly. and DD7 and DS7 loved loved loved the Neverland Club. There's a big crafts area which kept our daughter happily busy, and there's a game room which kept our son happily busy.

Sounds great. Our DS9 could play games for hours and our DS7 loves to build and make things. Thanks everyone.

Can you book one of these stays ahead of time, like if I was going to call to to make a ps for eating out, could I do one for the kids for the neverland club?

DS stayed at the club at WL in July. He had a blast. I made reservations in advance, but can't remember how long. I know I made PS at 90 days and then made sometime after that. He can't wait to go back. It was great to have some adult time.

Good luck

My kids loved the Cubs Den at WL too - my son was hesitant at first, but when we went to pick them up 4 hours later, neither wanted to leave!!!! My DD is now 11 and our upcoming trip will probably be her last chance to use the clubs.
