not that I've ever seen but one can always hope! LOL.
It is harder as we age, for me I've had some ongoing issues that have kept me from much of the physical activity I used to do and combine that with last years Alaska cruise and by the time we got back it was UGH! I've been in PT, and seeing various other docs since Oct to try to get back to the activities I want and am still not there which drives me nuts. It is amazing to me how much weight I can actually hide, I lost almost 20 and honestly only 3 people noticed. My husband, one co worker and one sister. And my sister only noticed as I was in workout clothes!
The sad part is how easy it is to put back on and I actually managed to work out a bit on the trip but still. Stop counting calories for 12 days and at a certain point, it adds up. Needless to say I hit the gym hard yesterday and really hope to get some workouts in this weekend despite it being a work conference. We will see. I did really well the first half of the trip but the cruise and then 2 days of dining plan had me falling off the wagon a little. By AKV the bikini didn't feel as good as it did at the beginning of the trip.

So now I have to lose it again to be able to handle food and wine.
No one in my family eats like a bird and they are thin and fit, but Evan and I could have, and should have, shared a chicken. We tend to have light or non existent breakfasts, mediums sized lunches and rather large dinners but don't snack at all. For lunch, they were huge portions, for dinner we'd have probably eaten it all. Eric ate all his ribs, Kendall and Jeff their sandwiches but that chicken was ginormous. And GOOD!
Actually it was 4 nights WDW, 4 nights cruise and 3 nights Vero. I'm leaning towards the WDW section.
We were originally at Kidani, the only reason I moved to Jambo was b/c we downgraded to standard view and at Kidani that could well mean a parking lot view which I was not ok with. LOVE the pool at Kidani and Evan gave the slide a 10. I didn't do all the slides at each resort so I can't really compare it but I can tell you, it's a great slide! We liked the Kidani pool better for sure. Opinions seemed to be split on best location for animal viewing at Kidani but honestly it seems all savanna views are pretty darn good and they do a good job of trying to move the animals around which was fascinating. I'll show it on the TR but it will be a while before I get to that, probably not before your trip!
I can tell you that of the 3 DVC resorts we stayed at, for the kids, AKV won hands down. They all absolutely fell in love with it. The animals, the decor, all of it. You'll have to let me know though if Kidani has crazy heavy doors. They were so heavy and loud it was the oddest thing, like they were solid wood. Not sure if that's a Jambo only thing to to them being converted rooms but that was probably our one issue (and only Jeff and I noticed lol). The bathroom layout at Jambo was weird too, Kidani will be much better. The walk is nothing if you ask me, between the two, so you'll be able to do plenty at Jambo if you want. I think for us, given that it was 2 nights and such limited time there and no cooking for that part of the trip, Jambo was actually a better fit but for a longer trip, with cooking, I really want Kidani. The Mara really does have some of the best counter service anywhere on property, no about about that!
