I seriously want to punch him in the face. :cool2:

We finished writing the numbers on the heads and now are trying to figure out how complicated we want to get with design.

That is quite an undertaking. You guys are going to be working on it for a while.

A rainy day in Japan:

Wow, didn't realize what a truly horrific poc that is of me. Guess I should have cropped myself out first!

I know, I'm so redick as Gabby would say but due to the rain and sick kids I poured over every TiW menu and here's what I've decided:

Garden Grill (FW) - Chloe loves Chip n Dale- this will be our only character meal

La Hacienda (WS)- it's new, looks good, read heard a ton

50's Prime Time (DHS)- the menu doesn't look fabulous but it sounds really fun

Rose and Crown (WS)- I :lovestruc English food

Via Napoli (WS)- the kids will want pizza one night

Sanaa (AKV)- we love Indian food

Turf Club (SSR)- SSR is our home resort and it will be a great first night dinner after flying and getting settled

Kouzzina (BW)- love Greek, want to stroll BW after

Artist Point, Jiko, and Chef's almost made the cut but we only need 8 dinner ADRs.

Chef's is great for lunch ....if you want an extra meal in there. :rotfl:

:thumbsup2 What time do you suggest making an ADR for to get a prime table for Illuminations?

We really enjoyed this

Good to know. Have you been to WCC? That was my other choice for a fun meal.

Loved this (and the cute waiters, Gabby will be in heaven)

I will be in heaven. pirate: This actually looks like it will be a reasonably priced meal. Don't get me wrong, $41 for a large pizza is INSANE but if serves 4-5 plus a few salads, that's cheap for Disney.

Love love love Sanna

Michael has been perfecting his curry. And he just make tikka which is unreal. :cloud9: We are Indian junkies. I could eat it everyday.

I've heard nothing but good things about this and may fit it in next trip, we will see

We loved Olivia's when we stayed at OKW, Boma when we stayed at AKV, and Storyteller's when we stayed at GVC so I am expecting this to be good too.

Loved breakfast and want to go there for dinner

It was between Kouzzina and Flying Fish.

I already feel 5 lb fatter after thinking about this.

I love your restaurant choices! Except Garden Grill.
We were fans of Garden Grill until last year. The food used to be better. We were not happy with the food in August. I love the character interaction at GG. I think there are much better character meals. ;)

He wants to go right now but of course it's always about the money. Such is life. In fact he helped us get the 500 Mickey heads for our calendar. He also got us a piece of dry wall. :rotfl:

What did you buy? We don't have Disney stores

It's set to rain here the next two days so last we camped in the backyard, tent and all. Today we got Michael's Father's Day gift and saw POTC On Stranger Tides. It was so good. I didn't love the 3rd one.

How is the countdown caledar coming along?

I got some t-shirts and Mickey water bottles.

I'm really thinking about changing to Tusker House in AK for breakfast. Not a huge buffet fan however, breakfast buffets are the best kind. They don't have Chip n Dale though. We tried Chef Mickey's and hated the food. The characters were great but again, no Chip n Dale. The Grden Grill menu looks so unappealing to me. :sad1:

The calendar is coming. I woke up to a flooded basement at 5:45 and have been shop vacing for about 3 hours. Guess I got my workout in. Michael had to come home from the station to fix this. He leaves again tomorrow for 12 days. Praying for sun.

Ooo, your trip is so close!!!! I'm jealous. Do you guys use the misting fans?

well, we had 8pm reservations and waited quite a while for our table...maybe 45 minutes? it seemed like FOREVER but we had apps and drinks by the time the show started so it worked out well and our table was great. You feel like you are IN the show, it was very cool. We were willing to wait for the window (could have been seated much sooner otherwise) and it really was worth it.

Good to know. Have you been to WCC? That was my other choice for a fun meal.

We did WCC for breakfast. It was ok. The dinner doesn't appeal to me much as we make that food all the time and it always sounded like a heavy meal for a summer trip.

We ended up doing individual ones for our lunches n the girls trip and YUM!!!

Reasonable for Disney though. Plus it is SO pretty in there!!! I can't wait to take my gang there, they will love it.

us too.

FF is on my list as well.

I have to agree with Jen, I haven't really read anything good about garden grill in quite some time...

OMG! So sorry to hear about the flood. And Michael gone for 12 days? That's a long time! I hope the 12 days fly by.

One of my favorite character buffets is 1900 Park Fare. Both breakfast and dinner are good. No Chip and Dale, but Alice, the Mad Hatter, and Mary Poppins at breakfast.

I cannot wait! I hope the next couple of months don't drag. But then again, I don't want it to come too quickly. Once we get back, it'll almost be time for school. And our ticker is one day off. Instead of taking the 6:15 a.m. flight on 8/13, we switched to the 6:20 p.m. flight on 8/12.

We have misting fans in our Owner's Locker. My nephews use them occassionally, but prefer to find the sprinklers at the parks or head back to the pool.

Oh no. Sorry to hear about your basement flooding. I am sorry to hear that Michael will be gone so long, that is rough. I hope the 12 days goes fast for you.

Hmmm...... is 1900 a buffet? Chloe loves Alice and the Mad Hatter. The Garden Grill menu is making me sick. And the more I think about it, it might be nice to do a breakfast out. Chloe is quite the breakfast chef so it's omlettes and hashbrowns for this crew.

One day closer? :woohoo: Do you love your Owner's Locker? What do you keep in it?

Michael's been gone 36 hours and I feel like a scullery maid swabbing the deck. :headache:

:goodvibes It will be 14 days total and I may become one of my own patients. :upsidedow

You poor thing.

 I know in the scheme of life, people have it far worse in terms if natural disasters.

I offered to take the kids to the movies and they want to watch the Indiana Jones movies instead. :cool1: I've dine something right.

How's your holiday weekend?

1900 Park Fare is a buffet. Last time we were there, they had made to order omlettes. Park Fare & Crystal Palace are my two favorite character breakfasts. I especially love the characters at 1900 Park Fare.

I  my Owner's Locker. We have lots of stuff in it. It's jam packed! Our ponchos, misting fans, extra garbage bags (the 2 yr old was in diapers last summer and is now potty trained!), detergent, fabric softener, bleach, dryer sheets, coffee filters, shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste, deodorant, soap, floss, first aid kit, body spray, hair bands, lotion, qtips, a mini sewing kit, Splenda, and I'm sure there's other stuff.

How is the flood clean-up coming along?

That doesn't make your crisis any less to you.

A movie sounds good. I am being lazy. There is a NCIS marathon running on USA today so that is what I am doing that.

Flood clean-up is complete..... for now. Praying the sump in the yard triggers correctly this time. That was the issue today apparently.

I want an owners locker! It's so smart especially now with all of the baggage fees. :thumbsup2

We've done CP for dinner and it was good. I was looking at Cape May for breakfast and Chip n Dale are there. 1900's menu looks better though.

:thanks: Lazy days are awesome! My friend convinced me to give the Bachlorette a try so I'll be blowing 2 hrs on that.
