In the 18 years I have been here
we have had maybe 2 snow days where work/school was canceled. Wonder if PA snow is different than Utah snow. Maybe our shallow gene pool has something to do with it?!

I doubt PA snow is different. I think Utah knows what to do with their snow and NEPA doesn't. It's just around here that people have a problem with it. When we lived in the "snow-belt" of Lake Erie we would get three *feet* of lake effect snow. No big deal...schools weren't closed nor was work. Here we get three *inches* and it's like the world is coming to an end. Seriously people clear the shelves of milk, bread, and eggs at the grocery store for fear of being snowed in for days.
