They are going to be in school until July if you get many more snow days. Lucky you. In the 18 years I have been here we have had maybe 2 snow days where work/school was canceled. Wonder if PA snow is different than Utah snow. Maybe our shallow gene pool has something to do with it?!

I doubt PA snow is different. I think Utah knows what to do with their snow and NEPA doesn't. It's just around here that people have a problem with it. When we lived in the "snow-belt" of Lake Erie we would get three *feet* of lake effect snow. No big deal...schools weren't closed nor was work. Here we get three *inches* and it's like the world is coming to an end. Seriously people clear the shelves of milk, bread, and eggs at the grocery store for fear of being snowed in for days. Yesterday we only had an inch of snow but then got ice on top of it. I can see them closing yesterday because it was a mess on the roads and there were alot of accidents.

Tell me about the cruise? I didn't know you had one planned?

It was a bit stealth and I announced it just before, or after (I can't recall, which is pathetic) my trip to Germany so it's pretty new news! I have an update on it on the TR

VERY excited about it. A bit surreal right now to be honest. Perfect for us as we can just drive to Vancouver.

But it's hard for me to try new resorts. I get attached to resorts I love and never want to try new places.

It's the same everywhere. I love the MGM Grand in Las Vegas and hate staying anywhere else (the Four Seasons is the exception ). On one trip, I stayed at the Mirage and I HATED it. I found it small. Well, compared to the MGM everything is small.

Ok but look at how much you LOVED the YC! You kind of had to stay there and now looked what happened!

Mandalay? Monte Carlo? I admit, I enjoyed all of them though would rank them in that order and the MGM isn't even on my radar

The Westin sucks.

Gabby and Joshua have decided they want to go back to Jewish summer camp but Chloe wants no part of it due to 2 weeks being too long for her to be away from home. I told DH last night that she and I could drive out, stay at my BFFs and do a couple days at Disneyland and the .

No I didn't check in because our first night is a room only ressie and our plane doesn't land until 9:50pm so I figured at that time of night I shouldn't have to wait long. I also want to see if our room is in a good location. If it is then I will ask if we can just stay there instead of moving. If it isn't and they can put me in a good location the next day then I will move. Savvy

Gab told me today that she may want a day at Disneyland for her bat mitzvah trip in May which would be great except we promised Chloe we wouldn't go to Disneyland without her. I told Gabby no- can you imagine?

Painful at best. The worst part is we could go with one of my dearest friends for the day and free no less. I just can't do that to Chloe though. She's having a hard enough time with her sister growing up but to do Disneyland without her, no way. I must hold fast.

It was one of those weekends I was actually glad to see end. Sometimes it is so hard to be a mom isn't it? I don't envy you. My friend that I am going to Disneyland hasn't told her husband and daughter yet and our trip is less than a month away.

I am really okay with it but it would be nice to go with just the big girls and not worry about losing anyone and not dealing with a ton of input. The best trips to Disneyland involve my family just doing what I suggest.
