Are the considered a Value? I can't tell. Or are they their own category?
I have been to NY once andthe bagels were orgasmic! The best part was that we could get them delivered!
I ate so much that week. Greek food delivered at 2 am? Unheard of in Utah. Truly.

I thought they are considered a value since they're being built where the other half of Pop was suppose to be.
I've had bagels in other parts of the US, but am always disappointed. Nothing like a warm bagel right out of the oven in the morning.
Ohh Greek foodLove the Greek diners in NYC.
What years were the other half of Pop supposed to be? More current I would think?
Bagels in Utah are okay. We have Einstein's basically but not many independent bagel shops....at least none by us. Hell, we just got our first Starbuck's in our town about 2 years ago.![]()
It's by the Walmart.
I love Greek food too.On the upside, not having access to all the deliciousness that NY has to offer probably keeps my weight down.
Self control is key!
DVC reservation day is getting closer!!!
Less than 6 months.![]()
Portion control is the only thing that keeps me from gaining. When I first started losing weight, I went to bed hungry the first six months.![]()
Less than 6 months is not bad at all! Are you going to DL this summer?
I'd love to.Gabby and Josh are now going to camp for two weeks and I'd love to take Chloe for a few days but not sure if it's in the financial cards. Getting the kids to and from Denver for camp costs about $600 whether we drive or fly or do half and half. Plus the tuition is not cheap. Gabby needs new hiking boots blah blah blah........
We have friends coming to Utah to visit and they want us to spend a few days at Bear Lake with them. I did take off June 24-July 5 though in case we decide to head to Disneyland. I wish gas would drop which I know is not going to happen.
What summer plans do you have aside from fabulous WDW and BLT?
Just saying hi. I can't wait until next week I will finally have a break in my schedule.
I hope you get to visit DLR this summer!
Camp sounds fun. And 2 weeks seems like the perfect amount of time. I have a couple of students going to camp for 7 weeks. I hope they don't get homesick.
I hope gas prices drop too. Paying over $4/gallon doesn't make a road trip sound like such a great idea right now.
Right now, my summer is pretty open. Other than Disney, I'm not a huge planner. My sister-in-law is due in August, so I'll spend some time in Maryland. We are considering a weekend trip to Hershey Park. But it will have to be before Disney. Everything seems mediocre after Disney.![]()
I can offer good news on the gas prices in California. I paid $3.87 a gallon yesterday. So it has gone down 20 cents in the last few weeks.
Hi ya! Ever decide on going to WDW this summer?
Joshua gets homesick at night. Gabby could care less.Chloe was heartbroken- she won't go back.

ITA. Were going to Bear Lake which would normally be amazing; jet skis, grilling, hiking, fishing.......but compared to WDW/Disneyland, it's just so-so.
Great to know! Our admission would be free. I did call the GCV for kicks and could get one of our nights in a Studio but not the other so we'll see..........
Have you made a decision on doing a split stay? Or one resort for the 2 weeks? How is the transportation at SSR/THV vs. AKV?
Well, I am sure that whatever you decide to do you will have a ball.
I think aside from the Monorail and Epcot resorts, transportation doesn't vary much. We've stayed at AKV and the busses were great. I hear people say, oh it's so far, but really? 10 minutes isn't far from anything if you keep it in perspective.I'm still tossed up between THV and BWV for the 2nd half. Our new DVC Membership Portfolio came today. Chloe and I are going to pour through it tonight.
I love that kid!I have points to bank soon unless I make a GCV ressie for late June/early July.
It's one of my dearest friends whose coming here so we'll see them for sure but I'd like their dates so we can plan accordingly. She's a last minute planner though- nothing like all of us here.

Not planning works to a certain extent so I have to plan at least to reserve the hotel.
10 minutes isn't that bad at all. And it is so much cheaper than renting a car.
I don't think you can go wrong with either resort. Actually, no matter which DVC resort you pick, it will be FANTASTIC!
Oh I didn't realize DVC sent out new membership portfolios. I can't wait to get mine! Hopefully, it will be here just in time to read through this weekend.
