Michele, I'm glad you are celebrating 5 years of healing today.
Michele, I'm glad you are celebrating 5 years of healing today.
Thank you!!
My daughter Kody still loves the "little kid" rides. She is 18, she cracks me up. She doesn't like the Snow White ride, she says it really is scary.Silly girl!! She also won't ride the Haunted Mansion unless it is dressed up with the holiday overlay.
Today is the five year anniversary of leaving the hospital. I am filled with so many thoughts of that. An ileostomy is a "relative" of a colostomy.
I'm not familiar with either. Looks like I've got some googling to do. I'm glad your better and can understand that the anniversary of any trauma is always emotions.![]()
Love Kody!Girl after my own heart. I love the kiddie rides. I have to force my kids on The Storybook Boats and Pinocchio.

Today's countdown photo is from our very magical, first ever, Dream worthy, 2007 trip. This is one of my favorite WDW photos ever. Tomorrow I'll post the one taken right after the kiss.

It didn't work for me so I looked at it on another page. What a cute picture!! And now it is? How weird.

He was such a spicy little nugget at the age. Such a magical trip.
I miss Loren at that age. He's grown so much recently he doesn't stand up straight. Poor guy.
Just playing on my phone!!
How tall is he?
31 days until WDW!!!
And the after shotYou can't make this stuff up!

Loren is 6 feet and growing. His dad is 6 foot 3 so I expect him to at least hit that.
That is too cute. Just wait he won't be wiping them off all too soon.
Mine are shrimps. You're lucky!
Yeah, that pic was 5 years ago. I'm afraid he's already liking the ladies and if he gets kissed this year, I doubt he'll wipe it off.
30 days until WDW!!!

He is the only tall one.Loren would love to be kissed by a princess.
He got lucky!
Most boys/men would love it especially with Jasmine. I think it's her navel. :
Have you ever had so much to do that you don't even know where to start so you do nothing? That's me right now.to infinity and beyond.
That's me most days. Tomorrow Kacy has school, it is grocery day, she has a list of "must" haves, Loren has PE and I take him to walk in a local park with the dog, and I have to take Kacy to drive.![]()
How old is Kacy? For some reason I thought she is older than Gabby.
I cannot seem to focus and my to do list is a mile long. I did manage to call the kennel and add a day onto the dogs' stay as we're leaving a day early now.
29 days until WDW!!!
I chose this pic for today from Disneyland because I wish, kind of, that we could go back to Gabby driving cars that are on tracks.

Kacy is 19. I am a mean mom, I will not let my kids drive without being on the honor roll. Plus for a long time she just didn't care. Sigh.
Did you see on Facebook that Kacy finally found a job? She is starting at Orchard Supply Hardware.
I haven't been on much but yay for Kacy! Congrats! When does she start?
If I waited for my kids to be on the honor roll, it'd never happen.I also preach that as long as they have really tried, I'm not concerned with the actual grade necessarily. I get angry when there is work missing and they haven't missed school.
How difficult is it to turn in a paper when you're sitting there.

Can't wait to visit WDW's Tiki Room! I boycotted during the Under New Management.

We don't do the honor roll thing, as I think only 2 of the 4 fall into that bucket and I don't believe in punishing the ones that do try hard, or their best, but don't have that extra "thing" that the other 2 do. That said, they have to be at a certain GPA for the insurance discount or forget about it.
And then, if you are a dork and get into 3 stupid ticket/fender benders and your rates get raised you....lose the car....lose parents paying for insurance.
Took Taylor a year to get the car back and he's now footing the bill for his increased rates, all on his own.
Ouch!
Kendall is in no rush to drive, can't say I blame her! Honestly, if I never had to drive myself again...I wouldn't.
She starts on October 3rd.
I relent all the time on things but on this I won't. If I thought that were actually working at it I would relent but they aren't.
I love the Tiki Room. It is a great place to go relax.
