When the manager called she told Kacy that she is interviewing her for 3 different positions. The food court, being a runner and stocking. It is the perfect job for her. It is less than 2 miles from her college, so that is really convenient. I have no clue about a discount, Kacy is hoping for her own Costco card, silly girl.

Working at food court would kill me. I am powerless against Costco pizza. What a great opportunity for her. I've read it's a good compact to work for.

Well, luckily our food court doesn't have the pizza. We are the smallest Costco in the area so we have the minimum. If you go to the Costco in the next town it dwarfs ours.

That's good because I promise, it's deadly. I'm generally a super thin crust kind of girl but their pizza and crust are so good! Super cheesy.

Hopefully they'll let her know ASAP if she's in! The waiting stinks.

I hope so too. The great thing about this Costco is that this Costco has the same manager that has been there as long as it has been open. She is a very nice lady and she likes hiring college students and a good part of her staff has been there since they opened.

Ae you packed?? A peace with POR? ;) Jenna is there now, do your dates overlap?

My plans for F&W are food except for any extras aside from the kiosks. I forgot to add that there are some deminars (seriously hate that made up word) that we could do on our Epcot days and they're cheap $11-14 with a DVC $2 discount. :thumbsup2 We may try to make one of those too. Michael is very indecisive at this moment. He pretty much doesn't want to decide. :rotfl2: But he's the foodie and wine lover. I'd eat Kraft Mac n Cheese and drink wine from a box with Alison and be perfectly happy.

I'm not packed yet. Not even close. I still have some trip shopping to do. Talk about cutting it close!

And I think you already know how POR turned out. :rotfl: I couldn't, just couldn't NOT stay at AoA. It may very well be the only time I stay there. I figured even though our flight lands at 7:30 and we probably won't get to the resort until 9, we'll have the next morning to explore. And since the Lion King section opens on Friday, I figured that would be the best place to stay on Saturday night. I love being able to try out a brand spanking new resort. The food court looks amazing. I'm happy they don't have just the typical food court menu. The resort specific merchandise looks so fun. Most importantly, I never underestimate the importance of space. 2 rooms, 3 beds, and 2 bathrooms beats 1 room, 2 beds, a murphy bed, and one bathroom.

I think Jenna leaves when we're coming in. The same thing happened last year!

Deminars? Not a fan of that word at all. Why oh why do people make up words ?

Michael is going to be in foodie heaven! Are your kids adventurous eaters? Will they sample different things?

That's cool, maybe she'll keep her on after the summer too?

You've got 5 days?! Really 4 because you live in 5 days. Get yer butt packing! It's making me anxious! :rotfl:

I always knew you'd change. :lmao: You're preaching to the choir about AoA! I chose it for all the reasons mentioned above! Even if it's only overnight, comfort is key. And it's new. When will we ever get to stay in a brand new resort, other than any new DVC built? And even then only the DVC section is new, not the entire resort! I'm all about AoA. We too won't most likely stay again. It's perfect for arrival night, not roomy enough for a week but a great option and it looks adorable.

My kids will eat anything! We're very blessed with that. :thumbsup2 I can't wait, I'm so stoked. I'm getting those little wristlets for them filled with money so they can venture off without nickel and dimming us to death. :rotfl:

I'm going through my clothes now, trying to decide what to pack. I refuse to overpack since we'll have a washer/dryer at BCV, AKV, and BLT. I don't mind throwing in a load before heading to the pool in the afternoon. I think I'll either head to Target today or tomorrow to get the other things we'll need. I have a waxing appointment on Wednesday and hair and nails on Friday. I just hope the week doesn't drag!

AoA is the perfect one night place. It may very well be our first night place every year. We'll see...

You are lucky that your kids are not picky eaters. My older nephew is not a picky eater, but the 4 year old is picky. The kids menus suit him. The wristlets are a fantastic idea! It'll give your kids freedom. They must be so excited about the trip.

::yes:: I eat fairly small portions so that sausage roll could easily be a meal for me.

I seriously love F&W porn. :cloud9: Thank you for posting that!

Hope you had a nice weekend. :goodvibes Tomorrow is Joshua's birthday. He'll be 11. I have no little kids. It's a mix of  and :woohoo:

:rotfl:

Happy Birthday to Joshua! If I can ever get my update from last week written and then the trip this weekend, I will have more F&W porn to share!

Shabbat Shalom! Or at least it will be after Joshua's soccer practice. Try being a Jew in Utah.....

Your way sounds perfect! We don't do the parks on arrival day either. What time do you normally arrive at your resort? Do your kids ask to go to the park or are they good with resort time? Mine have been great with *just* resort time thus far....knock on wood.

Anything fun planned this weekend other than some well earned down time?

Until I "met" you I didn't realize there were Jews in Utah. :lmao: Although when I looked at a job in San Antonio, Tom got in touch with the Jewish community there. :thumbsup2

My kids love swimming at the resort or hanging out and they've been to Disney enough times that they aren't pushing to go to the parks. Since this may be our last Disney trip for awhile, they may feel differently whenever we return.

Saturday was 10 mile run followed by going to the town pool. Sunday Tom was at work all morning. It was uncomfortably hot and humid all day so relatively quiet. You?

Happy Birthday to Joshua! Zachary was almost a Joshua, too. ;)

Oh no, use that washer/dryer! Thats one of my favorite DVC perks. That and the full kitchen. And room to live, not cram. Holy crap, I sound like I drank the kool-aid. :confused3

Love the pretrip primping. :thumbsup2 You can't get your pedicure more than a few days out, mine chip after a week no matter what. I finally got smart and starting bringing in my own polish. That way I can use it for touch up while away. :teacher:

We are lucky the kids aren't picky but we also didn't play into any food games and whining when they were younger so I think that may have something to do with it? :confused3

:thanks: He had a fabulous day and is sacked out on the couch as I type.

::yes::: ::yes:: ::yes:: More food porn. :thumbsup2

:goodvibes 10 miles run? You go girl!! :cheer2: That's fantastic!

We attended a retirement party for our neighbor who served in the Air Force for 20 years. It was a rager! This old girl can't drink like that anymore. In bed by 11 but still a great night filled with love and pride.

We've got Jews so if you ever head out this way, I'm your in. :rotfl2:

Zachary is a good name too. Joshua was almost a Jack but that was only to torment my inlaws. pirate:

Happy Birthday Joshua!!

Thank you Michele! He had a great day. Wish Kacy good luck tomorrow. :goodvibes

Did Joshua enjoy his birthday? He shares a birthday with one of my all time favorite actresses, Lucille Ball :)

Those are some of the reasons I love DVC. I already drank a pitcher of the DVC koolaid. :rotfl:

I do the same thing with my polish! I have a bottle of Wicked ready to be packed.

You're a smart mom! The 4 yr old is fussy about the texture of foods. He won't eat pizza, but he'll eat salmon and mahi mahi. His preference is chicken, chicken, and chicken. I'm hoping he grows out of it. Luckily, my niece, who loves to put her 6 teeth to good use, will try anything. I hope that sticks.

Have you tried Sanaa?

I love Lucy too. We just watched the Long Long Trailer two weekends ago. So funny! The rock part kills me. :rotfl: She was brilliant!

We haven't but we've got an ADR for it. I hear the bread service alone makes it a must do. And that you can order the bread service just at the bar too. :thumbsup2. Are you trying it? If so, let me know how it is. I've read nothing but good things about it. I'm 90% sure I'm canceling 'Ohana, still need to talk to Jenna. And I'm 75% sure I'm canceling Boma but we'll see. That might be tougher to get a pass on with the kids as we'll be at AKV. They love Boma.

Packed? :rotfl:

Happy Anniversary! How long have you been married?

I agree, she was brilliant. And she was so talented!

We have an ADR for Sanaa. I'll definitely let you know what we think. I'm thinking bread service and splitting an entree with my mom. We're thinking of canceling 'Ohana as well. Fixed price places aren't as great of a value and 'Ohana tends to be busy and loud. Oh, we're eating at Boma as well. LOVE Boma! Are you doing breakfast or dinner there?

I'm not packed, but I finished off my shopping at Target. I may order a couple of more things from Amazon. Amazon Prime makes it too easy to shop!

19 years! :cool1: I'm proud of my clever and funny anniversary FB status. Gabby thinks I'm a freak as M doesn't have FB and can't see it so I screen shotted it for him. I'm proud to have stayed happily married this long. It's not a small accomplishment. ;)

Did you decide on TiW or DDP? Can it get to you in time from Amazon? :hyper: You're making me nervous.

Happy Anniversary.

Hope you two have a great anniversary today.

I finally finished my PTR for my WDW trip in October. But first I have my DL trip next week which is the top priority until I get back.

Thanks Bret. It's a good but typical family-of-five day. DH took the kids school clothes shopping thankfully because I hate to shop. Unless it's online. Hate hate hate going to any sort of mall to just look and shop. :crazy2: Now all 3 kids have activities tonight but we are getting my favorite Mexican food to go. Living big baby. Oh and I got new luggage for WDW. Maybe I should post a pic. :yay:

I checked in to your PTR. :thumbsup2
