Yay for MNSSHP tickets!!! :yay:

I know, I'm so excited!! I'm a little irked with MS though. They said because we got a discount, the tickets are only eligible for Will Call which doesn't sound right?! I need to call and ask another CM. I actually paid to have them shipped yesterday and the CM called back like 5 minutes later to cancel and rebuy without the shipping fee.

How's your planning? popcorn:: It's almost summer! I bet you look forward to it more than anyone. :goodvibes

That's odd. I'd call back and speak to someone else.

Planning is moving along slowly. There isn't much to do at this point. I think Friday is our 100 day mark. I am still researching DLR for Christmas. I need info on what to do and where to eat during Christmas week. I've been kind of neglectful with the August planning.

What's next on your planning to-do list?

I'd suggest the Napa Rose and Storytellers for dining. Plaza Inn too. :thumbsup2 Carnation Cafe is good. Your nephews would get a kick out of the pb and j painters pallette they serve for lunch. All of those need PS. A PS is Disneyland's version of an ADR. There is far less to choose from at Disneyland and PS are made 60 days out. I've heard the steakhouse in the DLH is good too but the name escapes me. There is also a new CS in the DLH. Whitewater Snacks in the GCH is so good- love their nachos.

I need to make our outbound flight reservations but am desperately waiting for a DING fare from SW. I'm crossing my fingers. :wizard:

Other than that we're fairly solid. DH still thinks he can just cab it over to Universal sans planning and make a day of it. :faint: :rotfl2: He's insane.

I'm having reservations about AoA that first night. DVC has ruined me room wise. It looks cool but very IKEAish- plywood and plastic. I hope it's roomy enough too but it's over 500 sq ft which should be fine for a night.

The next thing, after outbound airfare, on the agenda is to purchase the TiW card.

Thanks for the suggestions! I'm going to need your help when I start planning our days.

Fingers crossed that you get the DING fare!

Oh your DH needs a plan for Universal. I'm still on the fence about Uni and Harry. I want to go, but I love Disney.

I know exactly how you feel about AoA. It's hard to go from deluxe villa to value, even if it's a family suite. But for one night, I think it'll be fine. IKEA :rotfl2:

Steakhouse 55 is the name of the restaurant, it is a great restaurant. They have this seven onion soup. They pour it tableside. The steaks and other sides are really good too!

I totally understand your reservations about AoA, but it looks pretty cool, and like you said the family suites are larger. It's only one night, you can put up with a lower thread count sheets and IKEA furniture for one night! :rotfl:

I know he needs to plan! He's bananas.

I will totally help you plan. Disneyland is truly amazing during the holidays and I'll live through planning your trip. It's official for now, no Disneyland for Christmas/Hanukkah. Hanukkah is early this year and M wants to take Joshua to SF for the Raiders/Broncos game. The girls are getting to see One Direction next month so it's only fair, right? ;) I told him I have to make GCV reservations stat and it's a no go. If I didn't have to borrow to get a reservation I'd make it and then stay within the cancelation parameters but if I borrow and cancel then I'm toast. With only 170 points, I don't have any to spare.

Thanks Alison! I love onion soup, looks like M and I will have to try it.

AoA does look cool. :rotfl2: We'll survive, I'm sure. ;) I am a sucker for a good food court. Hope it's as good as it sounds. Most important Chloe is stoked about it and after all the trip is primarily for her.

We're literally 3 weeks away from her bat mitzvah and I have no business being on the DIS. I should be practicing my portion. But I'm not. :hyper: Chloe is pulling it together quite nicely. Her tallit arrived finally. We found her dress and shoes today. Gab kept saying we were lucky she was with us as I was trying to dress Chloe like a toddler. :lmao: Her kippot still haven't arrived and M is working on her program. While it's a wonderful, meaningful journey, it is by far the most stressful event for me for some reason. I think I've got a slight diagnosable case of PTSD from Gab's. :scared1:

I love my TIW card!
I've had a bad week, running wise. Super busy at work! But I have a plan to keep me going.

:goodvibes What's your plan? Maybe it will help motivate me. I bet as a Pediatrician, you stay quite busy.

We had Chloe's rehearsal today. She did great. And on the way home barfed her guts up. :sad2: Poor thing. She's asleep now. DH is at Joshua's soccer game. Looks like a mellow evening for us.

Just found out Test Track will be closed until Nov 30 :scared1: but MSEP is back at WDW so we'll get to see it. :woohoo:

:goofy:161 days until WDW!!! :goofy:

The bar mitzvah we attended this morning was fabulous, meaningful. :thumbsup2

Heading to SLC for dinner with some friends for Cinco de Mayo.

Hope everyone is enjoying their weekend. :goodvibes

:goodvibes Thanks girl! I need to check into your report. I've been a bad subscriber. I see that Sherry started hers to, I need to check it out.

Ooh thanks for the heads up. I need to go check it out!!
